Small neighborhood garden center! Excellent quality, little pricey, good service! Saves a trip to box stores!

make sure you get there before closing(5pm). I went there yesterday at 5pm on the dot ( just to get a propane tank). Told me they were closed . I kind of pleaded with the guys. I took a cab there. The little old guy grabs the propane tank out of my hand and throws it on the ground screaming and cursing. It literally took him 3 minutes to make the transaction. I used this establishment because it's not a chain.Hope they go out of business and burn

Great stuff, medium priced, long term owner operated by sometimes gruff but very knowledgeable and helpful guy, terrific neighborhood alternative to the big box stores, recommended

Nice garden place that carries seasonal flowers, plants, vases, garden supplies, etc. Good quality and reasonable prices. Their selection is limited, but it has the stuff that you’d expect from a small nursery and they can special order anything for you. Great service, the staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Available parking at the front. I’d recommend this place.

Overpriced, staff member in the indoor plant section was extremely condescending, patronizing and annoying. Asked him if he carried a certain plant which he did show me but when I told him I was looking for a different variety, he went from being friendly to snapping at me telling me I could only find them in the botanical gardens and if I'm lucky, they'd be overpriced. Such a Jekyll and Hyde transformation! I told him many of the rarer varieties are sold in nurseries and even home depot and Walmart for about $15 for a 6" pot and he started talking over me that I did not know what I was talking about. Well having a mother in the horticulture business, I have a lifetime of knowing my plants and their price. He did not know what the distributors carried. I excused myself and as I was admiring other plants walking out, he kept shouting across the aisles to me what they were even though they were plainly labeled. I did not appreciate the patronizing attitude and I definitely will not be returning. Save yourself a lot of money and a headache and go somewhere else where they would welcome your business.

Some of the rudest grumpiest folks I have ever come across. It's what happens to a business that thinks they have a monopoly in the area on their product. Well you'll never get another penny from me!

Spent lots of money here for my spring flowers {$400) and other supplies for many years. I also purchase refills for my bbq. Well approximately a month ago I purchased 2 tanks and when I tried to use them, gas was pouring out of one so I tried the other. Same situation happen so I figured it must be the hose. I had the hose replaced and I still had 2 leaking tanks! I had a specialist come over to figure out the problem. It seems both tanks I purchased were defective. The rubber washer inside was damaged on both! I tried to get them replaced but this garden center was closed. I tried calling the number on the sign but went unanswered! No answering machine no nothing. I tried one more day and they were locked up! So I went to another garden center and spent $75 for these tanks. The other day, I went to Northshore farms and noticed that the gate was open. I went inside and saw I guess the owner and his son unloading pallets of supplies. I explained what happened and they looked at me like I was nuts! He said he always open which is his first lie. When I explained about the tanks, he said everyone buys from his vendor. I never had a problem for 40 plus years and these characters neither apologize nor offer a refund. BEWARE. This is dangerous since if you don't hear it leaking gas. the bbq can explode with you. So done with these characters
