A bit dissapointed with this Kumon after coming from an excellent one.The reason is they don't have enough instructors, and my son just sits there for a long time and noone checks his progress. You can see through the glass that he is not paying attention, and no instructors are working with him or checking his progress.The kids are never encouraged, never inspired, but even sometimes criticized for not doing something. It's heart breaking once seeing a 3-year old breaks into tears when one of the teacher (older lady) critisized the child for doing or not doing something.

Mrs Song and her team at Kumon care about my children’s academic performance. After just a few weeks, my daughter’s math skills have improved greatly. They are patient and wonderful with the kids.

In the process of my study, this has improved my reading level and understanding of vocabulary, which has made me improve a lot. I have now transferred from ENL class to ordinary English class. This course has a great contribution.

The instructor at this center cares about children’s academic performance. They are very patient and friendly. The director provided my five-year-old child with great instruction and showed him step by step the reading and spelling skills. She was able to give enough attention to him and make necessary adjustments on his workload and level based on his progress. My son improved a lot after he joined the center. It’s a good experience!

We are so lucky to have Kumon newly open in Great Neck last year. We signed up our 7-year-old son with Kumon. The instructors are so patient with kids. After a year of practice, my boy's reading has been dramatically improved. The best thing from Kumon is that he has established his own habit of independently practicing reading and math at daily basis.

This place is really bad my son was supposed to be done in an hour and they made him stay an extra 30 minutes they don’t let them leave on time don’t reccomend

This is the worst kumon center ever. The instructor is incompetent, did not care about your child interest and capability. The center is not responsible to any phone calls. Do not put your child into this center. It is not worth it. Find other center who really cares about the kids' capability and interest.
