After waiting on AAA last night in the dark for almost 2 hours, a kind man named Eric stopped and changed my flat tire. He recommended I call Shelly, the owner of Rick’s Tire, even though they’re closed this weekend, so I wouldn’t be without a spare this far from home. They got me in within 30 minutes of calling this morning and changed my tire, charging only $10 for the tire because it was used. I’m blown away by the kindness and generosity I have experienced in the middle of nowhere, NY!

Excellent, locally-owned Firestone dealership and specialty tire shop. The technicians are competent and professional; and Shelly, the office manager, is very accommodating and easy to work with.I live quite a distance away, and Shelly saved me about 150 miles of driving by arranging the mounting, balancing, and delivery of my new winter tires around times when I would be in that neck of their woods for work reasons. With gas prices the way they are, little things like that make a big difference.All in all, this is the place to go for tires if you live in or near Delaware County, New York.

This is a very nice, locally-owned Firestone dealership and specialty tire shop. Shelly (the office manager) is very efficient and accommodating, and the tire technicians do great work. I live a considerable distance away, and Shelly was happy to schedule the mounting, balancing, and delivery of my new winter tires around my schedule so I could drop off the wheels and pick up the mounted and balanced tires when I was in that neck of the woods anyway. All told, she saved me about 150 miles of driving. Another thing I like is that this is a specialty tire shop, meaning that they don't do general auto repairs. That means that they know tires because it's all that they do. It also means they're not going to pad the bill by selling you unnecessary parts and repairs (unlike the shop I used to use). All in all, this is a very good tire shop that I use and highly recommend. I always try to support local business whenever I can, and Rick's Tire makes that easy to do.
