I was really disappointed with my highlights. I had an appointment with the owner, Tina, and she did a terrible job. The atmosphere was very stuffy, and she was not very warm or engaging. She acted like she did not want to have a conversation or even be there. The service was very, very rushed. I have long, thick hair and was out of the chair in 1 hour which included highlights, wash, blow-dry and style. I have never been in a salon less for than 2 hours for highlights alone!

Tiana did an AMAZING job on my hair. Mid back length, curly, medium thickness. Highlights and trim. Can’t wait to go back!!

Tinge is a small "boutique" salon. I felt that my hairdresser, Jess, was able to give me 100% of her attention for the entire two-hour appointment. Jess is a good listener, and did a wonderful job making my desired look into reality. I showed her some photos, she proposed a few options, I selected one, and she took the lead. I got permanent hair dye (originally had virgin hair) and hair cut for about $120 including tip. I consider this a fair price when compared with NYC salon prices. It was a relaxing experience and I would recommend Tinge to a friend. My mother also got her hair cut and a touch-up with Jess and was pleased. Thank you!

Sheila and her staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. They do a great job and make sure you are happy with the results. The studio is beautiful and very relaxing. Would highly recommend Sheila, Tina and Debbie to my friends.
