I worked for Jim for 1 week and all he does is yell at his workers and is snippy with clients, he talks negatively of all clients he works for as well, and than when the week was up he tried not to pay me and police got involved, needless to say I got my money bc I stood up for what's right, watch out for jim.

Jim Peters & Peters Landscapes does AMAZING work! My husband and I have had him do a few large jobs for us, including redoing all of our landscaping in the front and back of house (designed, built wall, columns, lighting, & all planting) and replacing our front steps. He also does our yearly spring cleanup. He does such great work that my parents and neighbors also started using Peters Landscapes.
Highly recommend and will continue to use!!!

We chose Jim Peters to plan and install a landscape / hardscape redo of our front yard. jim was a great listener and worked with us to achieve a design that met our desires. He made excellent recommendations. He is seen as a seasoned pro by the area nurseries. He redrew our plans several times until we got to the right design for us. His prices are high but his work is superior.

This is my second experience using Jim's services. We first hired Jim and his crew to design and install a paver driveway, walkway and two porches. The quality of workmanship by far was second to none. We were extremely satisfied with the final result and with the attention to detail in which his crew executed the job. This work was done about thirteen years ago and held up beautifully. Just this year, a few issues started to appear. A few of the paver blocks started chipping and loosening. Also weeds began to start growing in between the blocks. We were happy to learn that Jim was still in the business and decided to contact him to get a refresh. Jim promptly came and gave us a very fair and reasonable estimate based on the work that needed to be done. He assigned his head man, Bernardo, to do the job. Bernardo was meticulous in rectifying all the issues and completed the work in four days. His work blended perfectly to the original work performed and the entire installation looks like it did the day it was completed thirteen years ago. We can't say enough about Peters landscapes. If you want top quality work at a fair price, don't hesitate to use Peters Landscape.

My boyfriend has been working for Jim the last few weeks. He keeps calling and texting Jim to pick up his paycheck and after several attempts he still has not returned his calls or paid him.

I've never been treated so rudely. They are a very unprofessional company, and do not deserve your business. Don't bother, there are plenty of other landscaping companies who treat people with dignity and respect. Never written a yelp review this bad, but they deserve it.

Did a great job. Beautiful, creative work. Has always immediately responded to any issues we've had. Would use this service again. (I also think he's really honest and reliable, in spite of what some other reviewers have said!)

Peters landscape designed and constructed a large landscaping front yard project consisting of walkways and plantings for our newly renovated home in Washingtonville, NY. The results surpassed our expectations in terms of creative design and high quality execution. We have had many compliments from many people. We absolutely love it and will ask him to return to work on our backyard landscape.

Jim Peters is a Lying piece of Human Garbage. You pay the guy a barrel of money and he has no pride in his work and will lie through his teeth to steal your money. Horrible work and a thief..... Had to sue the guy and still no spine or sense of fairness. Stay away from this person and Business at all costs.. Complete Liars and do not honor any written warranties. Beware... Stay away at all costs do not hire this guy and his thief Business.
