I’ve been doing personal training at Goshen Anytime Fitness for almost 2 months. The trainers that I have been working with, Jon and Harry, have been incredibly helpful. They’ve taught me a lot and customize every workout to my needs. Not only are they helping me work out, but they’ve also been helping me with old shoulder and back injuries. They’re very knowledgeable about fitness and I would recommend them to anyone looking to get in shape.

My aunt Patricia Brink recently became a member at the Goshen location. She was thoroughly impressed with the facility. It is new, neat, and clean and has every type of gym equipment to help you reach your goals. All of the staff from the trainers to the receptionist are professional, knowledgeable, and willing to help in any way. The fact that you can work out any time is a huge plus. We highly recommend you consider joining. It is a great addition to the Goshen area.

Anytime fitness of Goshen is an Incredibly clean facility, the staff is fun, friendly and very helpful. It’s a perfect gym for someone who’s just beginning their fitness journey as well as it is perfectly well equipped for someone who has been in the game for a while. 10/10, will be bringing friends and family on board to come here. You won’t be disappointed! ?

I joined Anytime fitness in Goshen, NY first as a month to month member $75 per month plus sign up fee. After going for about a month, I realized Anytime Fitness takes my health insurance. So I wanted to sign up as a yearly contract member and my wife wanted to do so as well. Using our insurance. My wife contacted the the Goshen, NY location where I was currently a month to month member. Whoever picked up the phone stated that they have met their members with insurance quota and would be unable to switch my plan and sign my wife up. She was told by the staff there to try contacting Walden, Cornwall or Warwick locations, they may be better to accommodate you. Which seemed weird to me because the way gyms make money is monthly subscriptions, contracts & sign up fees. After she hung up the phone my wife contacted the Walden, Ny location and was told by the staff they would gladly take our insurance and to come on down to get signed up. So we both got signed up and are now paying $28ea per month with our insurance and are very happy. I went back to the Goshen, Ny location and canceled my month to month membership there and when Jennifer asked why I was canceling I told her why. I paid the remaining balance for the month, returned my key fab and told her I would still be seeing her once in a while. As it states on the anytime fitness website I would have access to any gym location after being a member for 30 days. That is one of the reasons that I originally signed up there. What I did not realize until a few weeks later is that Jennifer deactivated my new key fab and I could no longer access the Goshen Location. But, my key fab still worked in the Walden & Cornwall Locations. Before I just fired up a negative review, my wife went and talked to the staff at the Cornwall location (I wanted to make sure it was not just a computer glitch)and she was told there was nothing they could do to fix it because I was blocked at the Goshen Location. In my opinion that shows horrible customer service, retaliating at a member because you did not want to take their money & a second membership. Your are cheating me & other members out of our membership benefits! Business 101 a satisfied customer tells 2 to 3 people how good you are, an unhappy customer tells 10+ people how much you suck! I would advise anyone looking into Anytime Fitness not to sign up at the Goshen location. Especially if you want to use your health insurance. I will be contacting corporate to voice my situation and run it up the flag pole. This review is not trashing Anytime Fitness, just the Goshen, NY location. If you want to sign up at Anytime Fitness please do so at the Walden, Warwick, & Cornwall locations. Staff is very friendly, accommodating and they don't block you if you signed up at another location. Jennifer If you would like to fix this situation and show current & would be members who are going to read this you can provide good customer service. You know how to reach me.I understand you do not participate in the insurance program. That's just a small part of the issue. The main issue is that you deactivated my key fab from working at your location which is a violation of your franchise agreement. Just because I use insurance does not mean I cannot occasionally visit your location. Furthermore I went over your head called self esteem brands and had the problem fixed. And after reading your other google reviews, I'm not the first person you have done this to.

I absolutely love this gym!! It's very clean and the staff is very helpful and always accommodating. I have tried so many others in the area and this is the only 1 I highly recommend. A+++

Since I signed up before they opened, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. Everything you need with support and the knowledge is unmatched. Other gym talk about no judgement, but when you walk in here you become family!

This anytime fitness location lacked the features and services present at other locations. I had signed up at a different club through a workplace program, due to my job I move around frequently and so anytime fitness’s policy of accessing all locations is what led me to sign up. However this location does not honor that system and manually canceled my fob because in their opinion they were not profiting enough from my visits, staff told me this directly.Staff also described the owners as disliking members who used this program and said that it was their opinion (speaking for the owners) that those people were ‘cheating the system’. I pay for a membership to anytime fitness, the perks of this membership say that I am able to use any location.The benefits of franchising a business come with certain drawbacks and if anyone is cheating the system here, it would be this location.

Was thinking of joining but was not happy how they closed Middletown location without even telling the members. Went to go to the gym as usual and the doors were closed, shut down overnight, no notice at all. That was really unprofessional.

I’ve been a Anytime Fitness member for about 2 years now. I love that we all have access to every Anytime location in the world! That being said I’ve been to all the locations near my general area and the location at Goshen is in my top list of locations. Not only are the staff extremely nice and welcoming, but this location is very CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. This location is also decently sized with a great variety of machines at disposal! If you are around, you should definitely stop by and get a quick workout in!!!
