People need to shed their pompous and arrogant view that Walmart cannot compete with uppity Pharmacies such as Walgreens and CVS. In many ways, Walmart is better!!

My husband had to switch from CVS pharmacy due to it not being accepted by his insurance any longer. At first they said his pain medication would be available on a Thursday then it was Saturday, then it was the following Saturday. He called this morning told 2-3 hours goes in pharmacist denies his pain medication that he has been out of fir over a week and needs proof from his Dr....oh the one who prescribed the prescription! Why wasn't this address the previous week and a half after all the times he called. Please tell me how a pharmacist can make the decision on withholding a medication that helps my husband until he's able to get his surgery . Wouldn't recommend he's been getting this prescription from CVS with no issues since May and this was his first supposed pick up from Walmart .I will be calling higher up

They helped me so much, they were patient, competent and accommodating as I tried to get some important medications. I can’t thank them enough, and highly recommend the staff at this location— they deserve a raise!

Have been going to the Walmart Pharmacy for over a decade. The best pharmacist (Amy) has been there as well and she is beyond professional! If there is ever an issue with insurance or a doctors office, Tiffany and Chantelle can fix anything!! It is amazing how this well organized, efficient pharmacy is such a well kept secret! I will never be able to thank each and every person at this pharmacy for their years of hard work and dedication!!

Dautch Meadows Walmart is my favorite store, but I have noticed that merchandise is missing on the shelves, I have also observed the dirty bathrooms. I think that customers as loyal as I should have better service.

I must say I am very disappointed in this Walmart. We frequent this Walmart quite often for many different items and the reason why we do that is because we work in the area and it's just easier to swing into this Walmart then it is to go to another Walmart when you're looking for clothes and things especially for children that we have for school and that type of shopping parents you know what I mean. Walmart is supposed to be that all in one shop where you have your clothes you have your school supplies you have your food all under one roof and you can leave and go home and you're done you shouldn't have to go to another store after you go to Walmart. But after we go to this Walmart and it seems like only this Walmart we always have to go to another store because they never have what we need in this Walmart as far as food goes. It's almost like they're going out of business, their shelves are always empty like empty to the point where there's nothing on them empty and either they're not ordering enough stock or they're just not stocking the shelves because if they're not getting through a whole service or whole day in products sales then they're losing a whole lot of money because people still want to buy products at 5 at night but if the product isn't there to buy then they just lost that sale that's common business practice. So what are we have to do we leave Walmart and then we have to go to Price chopper or Hannaford to get something else that we couldn't get because it's not available there. Suggestion anybody at the Walmart corporation is listening at this particular store we've been in many Walmarts but it seems to be only this store that is happening in get them to stock their shelves more cuz they're not doing it correctly it is always empty there. Thank you for listening

Extremely rude receptionist. Go there a lot for my children's prescriptions and I know it gets very busy. Have a small child (impatient 2yr old) and was just checking to see whether or not more than one Pharmacist would be there. She rudely asked me "why does that matter?" instead of just answering my question. Isn't that what she is there to do, answer questions? Not happy. Been going for a long time and now I think I will have to change Pharmacy's. I don't understand why people have to be rude for absolutely no reason at all. Boggles my mind.

I'm new to the area for about a year now and the WalMart in Glenville is my favorite WalMart compared to E.Greenbush and Albany Wash Av Ext., and I don't find the things other negative reviewers have complained about. Staff always is friendly. Yes it gets dirty at times but they do their best to stay on top of it. The customers are the ones who mess it up. You can't blame a messy store on an overwork employee who's doing his or her job and maybe they were told not to clean up bc someone else is coming in to do it. If I'm looking for something they always walk me over to where it is, even if I say "just tell me you don't have to walk me there" they still do anyway. I love this Walmart. *hint - shop late at night. Less people.

So I'm the last person in line to get my prescription and the pharmacist tells me I'll have to come back in a half an hour because they have to go to lunch!!! It would have taken them less than two minutes to give me my prescription! Absurd. Perhaps, you should take a class on customer service!

I cannot in good conscience give this particular location a higher rating than 1 star. Not even on a good day. I'm not sure what goes into the hiring process, but 95% of staff are just not friendly, nor helpful. I gave up going to the checkout lines that have an actual person, and only use self-checkout now - the lauguage barrier is challenging and the staff act like they don't want to be there and it's painfully uncomfortable. Every once in a while, there will be a staff member who is friendly and personable. I like those encounters, but they are few and far between. There are approximately 10 self-checkout stations, and the wait isn't horrible. It's entertaining when there are 2 lines forming 1 line though (one going toward the back of the store, one running parallel to the front), because figuring out lines can be tough sometimes. You'd be surprised at how often how certain people just walk right past the line, ignoring those waiting, cutting in front of everyone, because they think they're important or something - of course the staff won't say a word, because we all know what will happen if they do--chaos will ensue. The store is very large, but the aisles are narrow and the carts are ginormous. Watching shoppers try and maneuver through the aisles with their giant carts (especially being a shopper) is painful. The customers are also very rude - they barrel down the rows like a bull in a China shop, and don't apologize if they hit your cart or "say excuse me" if they need to get by - it's almost like the shoppers that shop there feel entitled for some reason. They used to have these blue baskets at the front, which I would use. They were for those shoppesr that only had a couple things to pick up, so they didn't have to use an entire cart. I no longer see them - they must have done away with them. I'd like to bring those back, but who knows why they stopped utilizing them? The prices aren't always the cheapest, either. Unfortunately, there are a few items that Walmart sells that other stores in the area don't sell, so I get them at this location. I cringe when I realize I have to stop here, and say a quick prayer in my car. I like to get in and out and be done with it. I'd rather go to the dentist. There never seems to be a good time to go, either. It's like the same no matter what time it is. I will say though, the auto department isn't awful. I would give them a solid 3-star rating, because they fix flats and as long as it's not on the side, it's am inexpensive fix. However, it's short-staffed or workers seem to call out. You'll wait at least 1.5 hours for a flat tire fix, but at least there's a waiting room you can wait in.
