If your a petite female and enjoy getting bullied and intimated by the male self-check out employees then this grocery store is for you. Not once or twice but three times. What exactly do I mean? Let's start with lack of social distancing or even a basic awareness of my personal space. When a 6 foot man is hovering over a petite female, less than a foot away, I call that intimidation. When said young man then accuses me of not paying for a bottle of water in my groceries and asks to see my receipt for whatever sick reason, I call that bullying. When one of the young men screams literally "don't do that, don't remove that item" when the self-scanner says "remove item and re-scan" at a decibel loud enough that two isles over just stop and stare, I call that intimidation. Leadership allowing this behavior to occur, I call that culpable.

Overcharged by $5.; sent a message through customer service and no acknowledgement or response. Went to make Easter dinner and found the entire bag of (overpriced) lemons were green and furry and crackers had an expiration date of 2021. Ever since the recent store renovation the produce section is absurdly convoluted to navigate and prices are stupid high for everyday shelf items. Whatever their new business plan is, it's not working.

This certainly is no Price Chopper. Since the rebranding and renovation, customers have to seek out Bakers, Butchers and everyone else for service. s if waiting is a pre-requisite just to be acknowledged, customers actively need to go in search of service, which means looking behind walls and walking into the beginning of the workers areas just to peer into the itches for help! Before the renovation, the store had an open layout with defined areas, without walls blocking the view of all working there, which also blocks the view for the workers. It had a welcoming and friendly atmosphere but now that has changed drastically. If workers can not see the customers, then they can not do their jobs and give the great service we used to have. Now, the workers can not see the customers and we can not see the workers, which then causes long waits for bread to be sliced, to order meats etc. This is unacceptable for elderly people and those with mobility issues. We complained time and time again - and IT IS NOT the workers faults. They complain about it too. The bakery and butcher employees are great, once they are able to see us and service our needs. I can not say the same for the Deli! This store has the worst deli and worst deli employees around. Read the other reviews about this Deli after my review! We (customers) have been told cameras were going to be installed so the people working behind the walls would be able to see customers waiting etc, and that should shorten waiting times etc. - guess what? After 4 months, this still hasn't happened and we are STILL WAITING every time we shop at this store. To add insult to injury, the deli counter is a nightmare with only 2, and sometimes 3 people working on a Friday and Saturday, with no cut meats and cheeses stocked in the "In a Hurry" kiosk. 25 minutes to service 3 people ahead of me, and I still had to wait without anyone from the counter apologising for the wait, or stating they are getting to us as soon as they can etc. All of this for a pound of meet and cheese - forget that! I was not the only person who walked away from the deli that day. There is no ticket system, no timings, and not one worker was quick, knowing there was a line. I know that Market 32 can do better, and they should! Abysmal service at this department! This store also does not offer a pin pad at the register where customers can input your phone number associated with your rewards card, just in case you forgot your card, or left it in the car. Asking for a complimentary store card to be scanned to get the sale prices ends up in being scolded, and feeling like they are doing you a favour to give you the sale price! I resorted to asking the woman behind me to use her card so as not to feel uncomfortable by leaving my card at home. I phoned the store to share my experience about all of this, as I had enough of the waiting, and utter ridiculous wait at the Deli counter, with my 90 year old grandmother in tow. I asked for the store manager and explained my experience and how the customer service was not good enough. This store was certainly better before the walls were erected and the workers were hidden away. I conveyed my frustration that I was forced to go to another shop just to see a face, get some luncheon meats and not waste nearly half an hour to get a pound of cheese. The manager then responded with "I hope you have a better day sir" and that was that. No wonder the store is the way it is with an answer such as that! Dire service and treatment of loyal customers. I have now moved mu shopping to Hannaford, where they do not have such long lines for lunch meats, I can see people in the bakery and the butchers counter, and I can input my phone number associated with my rewards card in case I forget it. My advice, Dump Market 32 and find a better grocery store that actually cares about customer experience and the treatment of its clients!

Store gets a 1 star for recent issues dealing with Deli. If you prefer your meat sliced thin you will have a hard time getting it done if ever. I've stood there in person and have been shown the thickness and have taken a sample then when I get home it's 2 times as thick. When ordering via Instacart, I have gotten it sliced as requested once in the last year. They completely ignore the request to cut it thin and they cut it thick. This time I made a request to my shopper not to take the order if it isn't sliced thin (because I use it for catering style plates and we prefer it super thin) and when I checked the meat was cut again normal and this time for some reason the cheese was cut almost 4 times the thickness of the cheese they sell prepackaged. It was an obvious attempt by the deli to be petty and dissatisfy us even further by cutting it so ridiculously thick that we couldn't even use it for sandwiches. But hey I guess since we didn't specify a thickness for the cheese (as we have never done in a year) they saw an opening. Exactly the treatment and service you want to see from your local super market. Called the manager and left a message and left emails and filled the support requests out on the site. No response. Not surprised because culture is usually from top to bottom. These things don't accidentally happen for a year or more. Last time I'll order from Market 32 by Price Chopper on Glen.

Tonight my boyfriend and I were enjoying a date together for our valentines. When we arrived to the seafood counter to get steamed lobsters, we were very pleasantly greeted by Vernon. Unfortunately for us the steamer had been turned off. Vernon happily offered to turn the steamer back on for us to make our dinner date perfect. He was very helpful with any questions and went above and beyond. We even received our lobsters in a proper tray instead of bagged like other price choppers have done and put extra tin foil to keep them hot as we had a bit of a drive home. The lobsters were still the perfect temp when we got home and no mess due to the proper packaging. Thank you Vernon!

Love shopping, hate to eat? This your place! In the past month we've thrown out 2 packages of chicken, 4 steaks, a huge "fresh pack" tray of fruit, a pound of sliced "chicken" that was actually turkey, and a baguette (same day or next day of shopping trip due to spoilage). I suspect they are changing packaging and reprinting labels with updated "use or sell by" dates. Really such a bummer. This is a high traffic store, there is no excuse. It is a management issue period. The workers are great and the variety is great. I contacted Price Chopper about these problems but they never responded. I don't ask for anything but change. If their model is Buyer Beware that is a poor approach. Please be aware that you really have to check. If you can't see it, don't buy it. The fruit was so heavily shrinkwrapped that it was not possible to see the disintegration until it was unwrapped. It is sad as our area really needs grocery options and a committed grocer.

In need of an update, but this is probably one of the largest grocery stores in the immediate area, so if you need more specialized ingredients you have pretty good odds of finding them here. The store's age is starting to show with the dirty and dinged up floors, the rough looking displays, and more. A renovation would do wonders here. But the quality of products still seems to be consistent and the selection here is definitely larger than Market32 in Fort Edward, Hannaford in Kingsbury/Hudson Falls, and the Hannaford on Quaker Road. Employees are hit or miss when it comes to being polite & helpful. Some have seemed to forgotten the meaning of good customer service, but others still excel at it. Pretty large parking lot out front too so there usually isn't an issue with that.

Always look forward to Sea Food from Price Chopper on the 4th of July from the Glen Street store in Glens Falls , NY. Went there today to buy a bushel of clams. Older worker man (manager?) said they couldn't steam a whole bushel until I reminded him they have been doing it for me for years. Steamed the whole bushel, but then left them out on the counter for 15 minutes while he cleaned the steamer - all while we were standing there watching him! By the time he wrapped them to go they were room temperature. Got home and was told that same man has ruined many of their experiences there as well. Too bad he has to be like that...

What the heck? My daughter recently spent $9.99 on a pick 6-pack of a variety of beers for me as a gift. Didn't think to check when given but 5 were past their due date on the day she purchased. Receipt is gone so we can't return. Doesn't anyone check the case on a frequent basis? Two were 60-plus days past sell date.
