Total lack of compassion. My wife asked a simple question if the pharmacy would let the hospital know they didn’t have the medication in stock. For a man to start screaming at her two days after brain surgery that that isn’t his responsibility is a complete lack of professionalism.

Went to this pharmacy to get my covid booster vaccine. I had some medical issues that brought about questions on whether I should have the vaccine. The pharmacist immediately checked, got answers and discussed it with me. Both employees were so kind, knowledgeable and professional. It was a very positive experience.

Walmart Pharmacy in GLENMONT is staffed by The NICEST most CARING people. Eager to help and very kindly. (The one in Latham is the opposite.)

I was apprehensive about using the shopping service. I'm now a fan... the groceries are fresh and I can add some household items in it as well. Five times and they were only out of something once. Also tried delivery when I was laid up and it was a good experience but for me not worth the $10 service charge. I'm ok with a charge for spending $5-7 if it goes to the shopper, not the company.

I've been really pleased with the service at this pharmacy! They were able to get me some specialty meds at a good cost when most physical pharmacies don't do specialty drugs (they ordered from their specialty pharmacy out of state to their store), and their techs are always pleasant. I also noticed that their techs stick around, so I'm hoping that means they get treated well by management. Also, when you call the pharmacy, it's generally easy to get to a human being and sometimes the actual pharmacist will answer. There's no crazy long line like the 24-hr CVS and wait times are generally reasonable. The pharmacist will also automatically talk to you any time there's a change in dose or something seems unusual with your script just to make sure you're good to go. I never got that at other chains. And obv, the $4 list is great. It's also a one stop if you need to pick up other items.

I switched over from CVS last spring. Last spring I was temporarily without medical insurance and the out of pocket expense was better at Wal-Mart. Once became fully insured again, I just stayed due to convince and customer service. It's convenient because I do most of my household shopping at Walmart. So now it's more of a one stop and done type of experience. I find the staff helpful and pleasant. And always able to fill my scripts quickly. I didn't have an issue with CVS, but I love... One and done shopping.
