“Home Depot on Route 4 is a great first stop to gather everything you need for those projects around the house. We have been going here for years and usually walk out quite pleased. Prices and inventory are always stellar. In terms of project support, some of the staff really know their stuff, others don't, so do your own homework before you go shopping. I believe one of Home Depot's strongest legs is their website, it crushes the other big box stores, so take advantage of it for product details, prices, and availability. If you have a small order, just find out where it is in the store from the website and go grab it. This store also has excellent customer service as well, which is far, far above their competition. It's great to see management really doing their job and keeping this place pleasant to shop in, year after year.”

“Ì came in for a pressure washer and Leslie in garden showed me where they were. I asked her about a medicine cabinet on display but not on the shelf. She told me it wasn't her usual department and she was getting ready to go on break but she would find out for me, and come find me. And she did! She then went to the med.cab. section with me, found tools and a ladder, and removed the display model from the wall as it was the last one. I kept saying do you want to get someone else so you can go on break? She said, no, I'm going to see this through. It was no easy feat getting that cabinet down!!! She never gave up. Fabulous fabulous fabulous customer service. She deserves the highest praise!”
“Last minute rental of the flatbed truck to move a few large items of furniture/fixtures. The Schenectady location didn’t have the truck available for the day so I shot over to Albany. Terrence was awesome, above and beyond for customer service! Mike was also very pleasant upon return.”

The first person we asked for help was honest and said he didn't know how to help but pointed us to the pro shop. At the pro shop desk we met Michael who listened and patiently searched online for what my Dad was looking for. When he exhausted all his options he directed us to Tim the Hardware Manager. Michael also thanked my Dad for his service - he proudly wears his Army flight jacket and for someone to recognize that meant the world to me. Tim was able to find what my Dad needed and took the time to talk with him about random subjects as well. I love this store and the people who work there.THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME!”
