Lowe's review? Sure.As far as a comparison goes with other Lowe's stores that I have been to in New York and other states, this one is operated at a very high standard. It is sure to have most anything that your home, lawn, property could need and then some. High-price items are locked up, as I was made aware there was some thefts happening during the floyd riots and post-pandemic. All the isles are spic'n'span and lunch hour is the time when some materials are rolled out on carts and restocked on shelves.On a few occasions I have needed some input with the lumber and garden departments and all the staff (old and new) were very helpful and kind - one woman even walked half the store to make sure I got my item!The one sticky point, is the return desk (3 stations) where, without any fail, late in the morning or late in PM; there's always a backed up line. Please get 1 extra person to assist at this crucial desk.Above average Lowe's.5

I was just in the Glenmont store #1784 and while I thought I had everything i needed for my project, the employee Jennifer F stopped and asked me if I had everything I needed and I explained the project I was doing she directed me in the right direction and everything else I needed! not only is she super helpful and knowledgeable! very friendly! I will be coming back with future projects and will be looking for Jennifer F ! lowes is so lucky to have a great employee like her !

Back in mid November I purchased a garage door opener and install from Lowes. Lowes farms out their door opener installs to Handy a.k.a. Angie's list. I was scheduled on November 30th 4-7pm. Contractor showed up after 6 and left at 8:30pm install incomplete. He admitted he had only done one garage door opener install once before. Had to reschedule a follow up appt to complete job on Dec 15th. Job appeared to be complete at that time. During the next 2 months the door would occasionally stop midway up or on the way down. On March 20th another appt was scheduled for March 24th between 9am and noon. Evening of March 22nd, Handy texted and changed my install to 4pm to 7pm. Had to spend at least 1 hour with phone calls to Lowes customer support and Handy to get a new date March 28th 9 to 12. Glenmont store washes its hands in the handling of install issues. Highly recommend NOT using LOWE'S for any projects where install is performed by Handy.

Had a very bad experience there. Will not be going back. The flooring department is a joke. The really, really short troll completely sucks at his job.

Pathetic. I ordered appliances. Was promised a 2week delivery. Received email after waiting 2 weeks it would be another week. Spoke with Bob who lied about delivery. I'm done with Lowe's. Absolutely pathetic service. I need 3 more appliances I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Never buy an appliance from Lowe's, Glenmont! They promise to install, but the people they send tell you they are delivery only. They begrudgingly hooked up the hot and cold lines to my washer. The hot water line was leaking when they left. I, a 73 year old disabled person, had to go get a ladder and a wrench and tighten the connections. Buy your appliances from a smaller operation where they actually follow through on their promises and do the work they promise to do.

Went online to order begonias It said there were eleven left so I went in person. Nobody could "find" them. Their computers actually said they had 13! I wasted gas at today's prices driving from Latham to Albany to Glenmont, all because the website said they had them. I even called first and the monkey robot even said they had eleven in stock. Nobody had anything or knew anything and could not care less. Lowes owes me a quarter tank of gas for their lies. Going on facebook and twitter to let everyone I know to never to shop there! Customer service desk was downright nasty at Colonie - those that weren't standing around coffee-clutching that is. Those are you customer service choices: nasty or ignored.Clean up your inventory!

I just like the way that they take care of their customers. When you go to pick up something at curbside, it's done very quickly and efficiently most times within two minutes. That's pretty fast! They are very friendly and I got a nice discount for being military.

The Senior Citizens were out to get their flowers and vegetables on this BEAUTIFUL SUNNY WARM SATURDAY, and they were going to run over anyone with their cart that got in their way. WOW ! (Only part kidding). Only once did I have to ✋ stop walking and cross my hands to wait for Grandma ? to control her heavy hardware cart with supplies. I never said a word, but was ready if I had to (if I got hit by a cart). If you can't drive a cart or pay attention while shopping, you can always come back to the store when it is less hectic. (There are 17 days until Memorial Day = plenty of time people.) The Lowe's Staff were all FRIENDLY, HARD WORKING, did their HONEST BEST and were extremely short staffed which is why I gave this review FIVE STARS. I hope Company Management recognizes and compensates them very well for being so professional and friendly. TODAY I was just happy to get a bright and cheerful lawn chair to sit and relax in the shade in my veggie garden that I have been planning for 18 months. And yes, I most definitely will be back for ????? flowers, vegetables or Bee Balm or something.

Repetitive epic fail. If I could give 0 stars I would. Lowe's often doesn't have what I need, are out of stock, the wood cutting machine is broken or nobody there is trained to use it. Hard to find staff, the staff you find don't have answers. Looking online to find items in their stores doesn't help--the shelf location listed is wrong and the stocked/available items are wrong. Even if you go to a Lowe's that says online it has an item, it may not. Good luck calling to get a human to help. A Lowe's manager has told me the inventory system doesn't work. Way to go Lowe's. These big chain stores drove smaller hardware stores that met customers' needs and had everything out of business & now the chains carry only very limited stock. NOT serving the customer.
