Wouldn't trust just anyone with my hotrod. They repaired and painted several areas. The detail is amazing when I picked her she was spotless. Thanks Pete Karl and his team

If u want prompt, quality work at reasonable prices this is the place.
They get the job done when promised and did a great job 6 months ago with rust damage on my Mercedez Sprinter. Going back again next week for more rust touch ups on other side of van. Thank you Peter Geist for getting on an immediate insurance estimate needed for recent damage at a tire shop.

THEY DID A PHENOMENAL JOB ON MY IMPALA. It was in a collision and they worked diligently to get it fixed. My car looks brand new! I am beyond satisfied and would recommend this shop to anyone!Services: Painting

This hodge podge group of misfits not only held my car ransom from me for a whole weekend (resulting in a $110 fine) but also did me the courtesy of bad-mouthing me to my employer at the time and cost me my job. It's amateur hour at geist bros & co. !! Good luck if you trust these mediocre mechanics to help you out. The ONLY thing that matters to them is money. Customer service is on the low end of their priority list and if I could, then I would steer anybody with a brain away from them and their "I don't have time for this" attitude. I hope you guys go out of business because you think having a contract with Bethlehem pd means you can treat people like they're somehow lower than you. Newsflash: literally anyone with very minimal skill can drive a tow truck...you're not special.

All the way back to the mid-80s, I have done business with these professionals, (Carl & Peter) for my personal vehicles; classic sports cars and SUVs, and also my company vehicles, and every time a job was completed, it was completed with 100% attention to detail, always on time, and never any discrepancy in the original price that was quoted to me. Appreciate the decades of professional service!Services: Painting

I forget the young man's name, but he was super friendly and had awesome hair. He arrived when AAA said he would. Alot of other towing companies wouldn't come out that early in the morning, but these guys did and my husband and I couldn't be more appreciative!

Brought my 2007 Dodge Ram truck here last year in the summer to have dually flairs I purchased previously fitted to the truck, fix the rust on the bed and repainted to match the truck. I provided the dually flares, a new tailgate and bedside patches for the rust to be welded in. Got quoted 2500-3000 for having my truck for two weeks time, told them I had a budget and let me know if anything changes in price so I can prepare for it. Dropped my truck off everything went well in the beginning, they called me about a halfway through the second week to tell me the one bedside was too far gone and I would need a full bedside, no problem at all I contacted a buddy and got a bedside shipped and delivered from a dodge dealership themselves at cost. I picked it up and delivered to the body shop all within 3 days. While this was happening they ordered a inner patch panel for the driver side to fix the rust. Which ended up taking a full 10 days to arrive. I figured well price has probably changed now with doing a full bedside instead of a patch, so I said let me ask what they think about new price or if the quotes gone up. I was told no increase in price should be good to go. Stopped in about a week later because I hadn’t heard of a new timeline for my truck to be done so I asked again when I showed up how it was looking for price and timeline, was told “we’re working on it and price shouldn’t be too much more” another two weeks go by, I stop in again trying to get a gauge of when my truck would be finished as I needed it for a camping trip coming up in a couple weeks, truck still wasn’t put together with flares and sitting in back of shop, asked again about price and timeline as I was feeling the pressure seeing the work that still needed to be done. Was told again that price wouldn’t be much more than original quote and should be done within a week. Finally the week before camping I get a call saying my trucks done and the final price was $5500?!. I was in major disbelief because I had asked several times about a change in price and kept being told little increase but not too much more. I was never given an exact estimate of an increase but was told every time a little bit more than original $2500-3000 quote. So after them having my truck for 7 weeks. (5 weeks over what was quoted) I was absolutely in shock and disgusted that after several times of me stopping by to check on the progress and being told that price wouldn’t be much different it was double of the original quote. When I asked why no one gave me a straight answer about the price anytime I asked I got no response. They simply shrugged their shoulders and said “I have many hours in on your truck” I paid the bill and will never go back. Absolutely no regard for my budget or the decency to be honest and say “hey bud, I’m racking up a lot of hours on this truck, the price is going to be quite a bit more than the original quote.” Not to mention, a couple weeks go by and I notice in the sun my truck bed isn’t even the same color. So my truck was gone for 7 weeks, doubled the original quote and they couldn’t even paint the damn thing the right color on my truck... Would not recommended. Very disappointed after hearing such great things about a local business that’s been around for so many yearsServices: Body & Trim

A contractor's 2x4 pick-up truck was stuck in the mud off my driveway and Geist came through to pull him out. We waited nearly four hours for his other tow company to arrive and they never showed. I called AAA and Geist was dispatched arriving in only 35 minutes from Albany to Columbia county. Brandon was awesome - knew what he was doing and had the truck pulled out in twenty minutes. Punctual, efficient, and they got the job done. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys if you're in a similar jam.
