It is the place to go when your pockets are low, but you need supplies for your home. They sell clothing, housewares, medicines, cosmetics, and hair care. And I would be remiss to mention all the things you need and didn't realize you wanted. I always ♥️ ❤️ love to shop in this store. And now they have expanded to another store across Broadway!”

A huge amount of curtains, bathroom decor, rugs, decorative pillows, etc. -Downstairs cheap clothes mostly for men...underwear for women.”

“Daiso is a Japanese brand that’s equivalent to US’s 99 cents store. But items are more unique, diverse and at times, chic. Daiso is also very popular in South Korea and in Korean language, Daiso literally means, pun intended, ‘we have everything.’Indeed this Japanese mart has literally everything you need for the house and school. Dinnerware, snacks, gardening needs, clothing, stationary, cleaning products, etc., just name it and they have it. However, the quality of their products are suspicious at best.It’s fun to browse through the mart. It’s fun to purchase a thing or two you may need. But beware, these things will not last long.”

“So nondescript on the outside I didn't notice it for the 4 years I've lived in the neighborhood. Averaged sized store that is MUCH better than the two 99¢ stores further south on Amsterdam, which is really saying something. I found a medium-sized padded envelope and a pack of small safety pins. Pretty random, but since they still carried it, it shows that they do have a fairly comprehensive selection.”

“Easy to find items. Store can be a bit disorganized sometimes, meaning there are boxes in corners or in the store blocking area or just in the middle behind something I guess the employees think would be discreet, like behind a column. Their mobile phone case section has been lacking and I'm assuming there is a theft issue(with their products), because I noticed that when foot traffic is heavy with teens, the security would be within the area following or keeping an eye for them. Sometimes there are no bags available and you have to search for it.”

Like most mom & pop 99¢ stores, they have a credit card min (of $5) and all sales are final. They don't supply plastic bags anymore, so bring your own grocery tote.
