Not for the faint hearted. If you like real solid gold jewelry (22k -24k) then Kerala is the place for you. I've had multiple pieces (18k rings and 18k necklaces) made by them, dipped and polished. DJ the jeweler (in the little office on the side) is a gentleman and the man you want to speak to if it's fabrication or your own design you are interested in having made. Just today I picked up a ruby ring I had designed with mine and my daughters birth years on the sides of the ring and greek keys crowning the ruby with an inscription on the inside.Brought my own gold and ruby and this only cost me a few hundred. Again, This store does not carry 14k or even worse 10k peasant gold. Only pure gold and they do have a giant magnificent selection.

The gold is overpriced and not pure 22k. We tried exchanging the gold from Kerala Jewellers in India and they were not able to give full price because of the substandard purity.

I wish I could give them 0 star. There is a girl called Sukhwinder Kaur. Oh god what to say she is a liar. She compares her store to the big stores of Jackson Heights. She charges big amount of money and then when customer go to complaint she makes her face. Her owners are nice and good but she makes Punjabi people fool. Convinces first to buy cheap things and when customer complaints then she gets rude and disrespectful. You know how she loots money, she says yeah we charge shipping costs from everything. Wow! I must say I have been going to various stores in Jackson Heights but their employees are very respectful. Seriously must say that in Jackson Heights they are more professional. Don't deal with this uneducated lady(Sukhwinder kaur) who thinks that she is the smartest lady.

I hv visited this place several times . This is my gold jewelry place I don’t go any where after my first visit. Almost my all jewelry in newyork from this place. Sukhminder Kaur is best she is very professional n hv great knowledge of gold jewelry.She has patience with customers n answer all questions in detail n show them jewelry of there choice . Her selection is excellent. This store is lucky to hv Sukhminder. She take every customer very serious n helpful. No one can compete with her in that store. Sukhminder kaur is best.
