90 Crossways Park Dr W, Woodbury“My daughter attended Primrose for 2.5 years and it was the best experience for her and us as first time parents!Everything from the food to the curriculum was outstanding. My daughter graduated last month and she already knows how to read and write! She even learned how to speak spanish, and best of all, she was taught Math as a 4 year old!The communication is what really impressed me right from the beginning. I was able to communicate with the admin and the teacher via the Procare app and even by calling (even if that was multiple times a day)The building is only a few years old and it is so clean inside, you really feel like you're leaving your child in good hands!”

She comes home smiling every day and talks about various activities she engages in and has already made friends with the other children and talks about the mall the time. The staff is very kind and professional. I would definitely recommend this facility.”

1010 Merrick Ave, Merrick“My 2 girls have been going here for the past year and love it. They love their teachers and all the activities they do with them. One of my girls started kindergarten this year and Ms. Jo & Ms. Johnna prepared her for school. She learned so much in their pre-k program. In the morning the girls were always so excited to go to the school they would forget to give us a hug goodbye. They come home daily with arts and crafts and we love seeing them have fun in pics on their Facebook page.”
“My son started last September in the duckling class. In a few short weeks, his vocabulary grew. The teachers and staff are so kind and welcoming. They have great communication. He is currently doing the summer camp this summer and will be there again in the fall.”

“I love this school as well as the teachers and staff at Stepping Stone Pre and Grade School. They know every kid by name as well as the child’s needs, enabling them to provide all that is needed for each child to learn and grow! My daughter currently attends Stepping stone the teachers have been beyond amazing, and passionate about educating the children. They really know what they are doing & are very well trained. The classrooms’ presence is very warm and welcoming while the teachers seem to maintain an encouraging fun vibe so the children seem to have a lot of fun in class and are excited to go to school!”

252-20 Northern Blvd #1a, Queens“Exceptional preschool! My daughter was born during the pandemic and my husband and took care of her while working from home. We did not put her in a daycare, and we had no clue about the 3K program until just before the deadline for applications in 2023. I called this school for a tour and the director and staff patiently addressed all our questions and welcomed our then 3yo and 2yo for a tour. We hoped and prayed our 3yo would get into the 3k program in Fall 2023 and thankfully, she did.
Throughout the year, my daughter’s teachers showed genuine love and care towards her. I never felt like they were there just because it was their job, but I always felt like they truly cared about her. They found ways to always connect with her and with us. This was her first ever school year, her first time to be ever away from home daily under the care of people aside from myself and my husband, and she always felt at home. I never had to worry if she was in good hands because I always felt at ease with the teachers.
The director, assistant director and other staff also knew my daughter by name. They too showed genuine concern for her well-being, and I just couldn’t imagine choosing another school for my girl.
Looking forward to having both my kids in KA Little Neck in Fall 2024!”

225 Schenck Ave, Great Neck“Our son has been going to this school since he turned 2 years old. GNCS is a wonderful school with a devoted parent body, a highly experienced teaching staff and a great facility that includes a massive playground and outdoor class room. The school provides a safe and enriched environment for kids to grow, develop and thrive. It is definitely the top choice for daycare school in the Great Neck area. Highly recommended!”

3 N Village Green, Levittown“Kiddie Junction is the best school to take any of your young children! I have twin boys who had a bad experience somewhere else & had separation anxiety and they treated us so kindly & welcomed us so warmly. They know exactly what they are doing & are so sweet and caring. My sons enjoy to go to school & are thriving! Everyone in Kiddie Junction is fabulous and such professionals! Thank you Miss Abby, Miss Jillian and Miss Sammie! You are all so wonderful!”
“It took our daughter a while to get comfortable, but you can tell the teachers really tried cause now Ms. Gabby is one of her favorite people. They constantly send home fun creative things they kids did and we’ve really seen our daughter grow intellectually; from simple things like learning songs to expressing emotions.”

2051 Palmer Ave, Larchmont“In 2015, Discovering Me welcomed our family, and now after 8 years and 3 children in the program we must sadly say our goodbyes. We feel so grateful to have found this program!Discovering Me provides a child friendly learning environment, with many opportunities for kids to be independent. All three of my children mastered many self help skills needed for everyday tasks, that made my life a whole lot easier. The program maintains positive adult-child relationships, and encourages family engagement. Carol and Laurie prepare monthly newsletters to inform families of the happenings and add friendly reminders. The program follows daily routines, and schedules that helped my children feel safe and secure in knowing what to expect when they arrived at school each day. We always looked at the monthly calendar sent home to see what the themes were each week. My kids loved looking for books or toys related to the theme and on occasion I was convinced to buy clothes to match the theme. My daughter now has a very stylish dinosaur dress. All three of my children were lucky to have Mrs. Christine, and assistant Ms. Dee. She has a great reputation in the community, and she is a passionate teacher that provides a warm and comforting environment. All of my kids LOVED going to school and talk about Mrs. Christine as if she is part of our family.I firmly believe that building an early positive association with learning is essential to our kids' growth. All of my children found a solid beginning at Discovering Me. The graduation ceremony is magnificent. They really do a great job!”

11 Sintsink Dr E, Port Washington“This experience has been wonderful! Our daughter attended for three years and our son one. He'd run in without looking back. She was more hesitant, then couldn't stop talking about it. We moved to Port largely for this school and were not disappointed. The references were strong when we were deciding, and perhaps we'll chat if you're considering it. Many parents were educators (we're not), and we developed some close friendships. The name comes from "Project Spectrum," a research program that ran at Harvard under Howard Gardner and Mara Krechevsky. It's unrelated to the autism spectrum. The idea is that there are several types of intelligence (a "spectrum" of knowledge), and they can be cultivated in early childhood. My Spectrum School combines elements of this theory and the Reggio Emilia approach. It excels at translating theory into experiences. That's mostly because teachers care about kids, and kids aren't interested in Gardner. There's a commitment to longer-term themes (e.g., creativity, cognitive skills, STEAM), which informs curriculum. And they have a moment-by-moment approach: Teachers incorporate kids' interests and provide remarkable individual attention and differentiation. Class sizes are small enough to make that work. There's also some structure. Teachers stick to a routine for activities like arrival, lunch, playground, and departure---even if there can be considerable flexibility in between. Kids call adults by titles. Dr. D, Ms. Jennifer, and Mr. Jason became household names. The teachers are amazing, and it's hard to say enough good. Mr. Jason and Ms. Jennifer are bright, engaged, and passionate about the kids. They're also all-around wonderful people. Dr. D brings considerable experience with education theory and practice. Everyone had helpful insight at our conferences. They love talking about the kids. They were willing to reinforce things that we worked on at home, like empathy, imagination, or potty training. They will also tell it like it is: You'll hear something if your kid is in diapers at four or five. It is Long Island, after all.The facilities are large and thoughtfully designed. Mr. Jason teaches Pre-K students in one room. Ms. Jennifer and Dr. D have younger kids in another. There's a fair bit of crossover, where younger kids join the Pre-K students for some activities, parties, and play. Kids without younger siblings play eldest to the little ones, and likewise. We'll have fond memories.”

500 Meacham Ave, Elmont“This center was a great stepping stone for my daughter in her educational path. She started preschool in the fall and spent a few weeks there over the summer. They had such great events for the kids over the summer, such as bounce house, trips, themed days. When the school year came around her academic growth has shown and she even started reading. They have shows for the kids throughout the year where they're dancing or singing like the Christmas shows and the Black History month show. The teachers there are so interactive with the kids and I love how they communicate with me about everything going on with my daughter.”
“I must say that the day I walked into this school, I fell in love. The staff are friendly and kind. The owner of the school (Mrs. Chin) is so warm, humble, and accommodating. Since my daughter started attending this program, my daughter has been doing very well in her reading, writing, and counting. I have been so impressed with the level of teaching they provide to their students. My 2-year old also started talking much earlier than other students in the class and now has been able to get out of her shell and engage so well with others. I have no complaints about the school. They have a nice balance of school work and play time during school hours and provide individual attention to all their students. I am excited to start my 3rd child in this program as soon as she turns 2. Therefore, I would most definitely recommend this school if you are in search of a great school in the Queens Village area.”
“My daughter loves this child care! The teachers here are so kind and professional when taking care of little ones! They are very supportive and patient with my daughter’s language as we are a bilingual family. They also conduct different events and programs after school. And this child care has an indoor gym back there, so if the weather not allows kids going out, they will still have some physical activities indoor. Another thing I like is they are using an app to pass msg and post kids photos! So if you are missing your child you always have something to see lol. And the teachers and admins are always very responsive if you need anything.”
“Little Scholars Country Day is an amazing preschool and daycare. Love the structure, unique learning opportunities, family engagement, and experiences they provide for the kids(and families) Highly recommended to everyone!!”
