This is the worst Walgreens Pharmacy ever. They see you waiting at the drive-thru. You are just ignored. They never answer the phone. They are very slow. It's very frustrating.

Received my flu shot today. We had a scheduled appointment for myself and my family. The pharmacist, Jaimini, and the pharmacy tech, Brandon, were extremely helpful and efficient! I was impressed with their ability to handle so many requests from other customers at once and also were able to ensure that I could receive my vaccine in a timely fashion. I highly recommend these employees and this location for individuals who need this service!

Rite Aid closed, so my account was transferred to Walgreens. when I tried to refill a prescription, there was no record of it. I drove there with my prescription, the guy behind the counter kept me waiting for ten minutes. when he finally took all my info, including my insurance, I said not to rush because I would come back tomorrow for it. I returned to wait another ten minutes, and the surly pharmacist asked for my name, etc. She proceeded to tell me that Walgreens does not take my insurance, so I'd have to pay the regular price ($198.00). I was not going to do that, so she recommended that I go to the nearby CVS and have them request having the prescription filled there. I wasted over an hour and a half just to end up going somewhere else. I am not best pleased, and would never set foot in that place again, for any reason.

Pharmacy is so slow and very rude. Prescription I needed was out of stock basically gave me no update on an ETA and no alternative options. Very rude with their responses. Definitely switching back to CVS!

Amazing staff all around! I ordered something from another Walgreen's for pick up, but they canceled after confirming the initial request. I had to call several other Walgreen's before I finally found it by calling this store. Julian was so nice to look for the item and to put it aside for me. He then let me speak to the day manager (I forgot to ask her name) to inquire about delivery since I couldn't select their store online. It turned out I couldn't have it delivered, so had to go pick it up, but it was worth it because the day manager left a message for the night manager, Cyra, to help me apply a coupon I had from my first canceled order to this new order. Julian and both managers displayed excellent customer service!

Went in for a COVID vaccination this afternoon and thanks to zero communication on the part of the attendant and the pharmacist, ended up with a flu vaccination instead. How can there be no protocol in place to assure that these things don’t happen? If there is one, it’s being ignored. Upon realizing their mistake, they offered to give us the COVID vaccination on top of the flu one. Please be aware of you go this location. This should never happen.

Would give ZERO STARS if I could Woman manager is absolutely terrible - I came in for a refund but the item kept coming up as a lower price than I paid. She did not listen, did not let me finish my sentences, and tried to intimate me to leave the store. It was clear she had anger management issues, as she quite literally lost her mind mid-conversation and started to scream at me. This store as lost me as a customer and I will NEVER EVER return. Also will write to corporate as she has mistreated me as a customer and human being.

Manager Anna was incredibly aggressive and quite frankly, scary to interact with. She constantly cut me off while explaining my situation and slammed our items on the counter. A previous employee had given me an incorrect return receipt 30 min prior and she insinuated that I was lying even when I matched up the item numbers for her. (I had not even left the store since the return as I was shopping.) Instead of trying to find a solution to correct the numbers she nulled the entire transaction and told me she would no longer process the return. (This was after they had taken my items to the back already?) Long story short, she absolutely lost her s**** I think she had trouble managing her emotions as I have never experienced an adult employee, let alone a manager, acting like a toddler from hell. Jokes aside, this was to the point that I feel unsafe in the store if she was working there. Idk if she had other things going on in her life but I have never seen an adult manager act this way. Quite scary and unstable.

This pharmacy is horrible. The guy behind the counter is so slow. Why can't they hire more people? Does it take two hours to fill a prescription? Ridiculous CVS is way better. CVS didn't have my injection otherwise I wouldn't have come here. Not coming back.

This review is solely for Lori Pessone at cosmetic center. Today I would like to call it my lucky day because of Lori. I ran into Walgreens to find a eyeliner for an emergency rescue. I am an ignorant when comes to makeups. I rarely put any on. At most I would just do eye liner and some facial foundation. I started searching at the cosmetic area and so not productive. I heard someone asked a customer if she needed help on finding things and the customer declined. I did not know what happened at the same moment I just went over her asked if she could help me find a day brown eye liner ( normally I would never ask anyone in store to help because I would be so embarrassed that if people knew I knew nothing about cosmetic and makeup. But I am SO glad I walked out my comfort zone today. She is Lori Pessone! An angle came down to rescue me. Lori first looked st my face quickly and pin pointed my skin problems. She was so knowledgeable and so patient about all skin types, completion s and colors! We went through from lip stick, eye shadow, eye liner, cleanser, brush, moisturizer etc. For the first time, I got a color that was PERFECT for my complexion!!! I was so thrilled! I could saw a much more beautiful me instantly in the mirror at the store! I could NOT believe it happened in a Walgreens! LOL! Lori asked me what moisturizer I currently use. I said La Mer. She made a funny face right after and told me why.... she taught me how to professionally clean up my face with cleanser she highly recommended, as well as how to apply makeup correctly. Lori is so knowledgeable and she absolutely took time with me on trying colors that she saw unique and fabulous in me from a licensed makeup artist view. I honestly thought I would never look pretty in makeups. But Lori changed that today! She not only picked up all my makeup needs but also all came in with great prices! I can not wait I wake up tomorrow and put on a brand new "face"! Thank you, Lori!! Beautiful things can happen in Walgreens. Lol. I would start going here rather than going to department stores from now. Love it!

The pharmacy dept has issues. I used the mobile app to schedule my flu shot since I have done this the last 2 years without a problem. After 2 scheduled tries cancelled due to out of stock. I tried again last week with an 11:30 appt. I arrived at 11:20 picked up my prescription and informed the young lady of my flu shot appt. She said ok no problem. I waited 30 minutes.. now 11:50 and watched as this 1 girl serviced a long line inside and many cars at drive up window. One pharmacist on the phone non stop. I finally asked about my flu shot and the young girl went on the computer, asked my name and typed for 10 minutes then asked for my insurance card. Walked over to the pharmacist as the lines grew. After another 15 minutes I am told my insurance did not approve it???? I just picked my drugs.. and had 2 flu shots with same ins here... I said forget it asked for my card back and left. Call my insurance company and was told of course I am covered. They are not knowledgeable and severely understaffed.

Walgreens Glen Cove has always been helpful and courteous. Happy they are in the neighborhood.
