“My primary vetinarian went out of business and Dr. K took over caring for my dog who has many health issues. He and his staff are great. The transition was flawless and all of my dog's health needs were met. Everyone on the staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. K is very knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. He does not push unnecessary procedures on you to make money. Dr. K is a great vetinarian and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area.”

“Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.”
“What a phenomenal experience at this amazing clinic! Between the staff and Dr. Branding, everyone was amazing. I came in for the first time with a stray cat, that had been outside on her own with no help in sight. I made her an appointment first thing in the morning, took her in, got all of her shots and bloodwork, and made a spaying appointment. “Mid Island Animal Hospital is a Veterinary practice and hospital that goes above and beyond. I wanted to share this experience so others, who love their animals, would know about how wonderful the care is at Mid Island Animal Hospital. I have been taking my golden retriever puppy there since she was 12 weeks old. Recently, my 17 month old dog stopped eating and was just sleeping all day which was not like her at all. I thought maybe she had a stomach parasite or some other simple issue. We were taken that same day and seen by Dr. Stephanie Acevedo. Dr. Acevedo was extremely professional, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and compassionate. She understood we were in shock and upset with the test results and she took the time to explain everything several times. She never rushed us out or made us feel bad about asking so many questions. She was so knowledgeable and compassionate. She was just great with my dog. The dog required emergency surgery and Dr. Acevedo arranged everything with the surgeon so that the procedure went smoothly. She guided and helped us through this difficult and stressful time. Thank God that the surgery was a success and my girl will be just fine. Huge thank you to Dr. Acevedo for saving my girl. I must also add that the Vet techs and front office personnel are just amazing. They treat both pets and families with kindness and respect. From beginning to end, this practice takes care of and goes above and beyond for their patients. Your family is in good hands at Mid Island Animal Hospital. As far as a star review, they deserve all the stars in the sky for such great animal care!!!! ❤️?”

The Dr and her assistant were very calming and spent an unusual amount of time to get to know my Boxer. They played with her and gave her alot of treats. She recently saw us through a tough time when we had to make the terrible decision to put our dogs down due to old age and illness. She was supportive and compassionate throughout this difficult time for our family. She cried with us. I am happy to say that we are back with our new dog, Mabel. “Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.”

Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. “I can’t thank Dr. Fullerton and the whole LAH team enough for the amazing care they gave my dog from the time he was a puppy all the way through his senior years. He went through so much over his 17+ years—epilepsy, injuries, viruses, even a serious eye injury that had us coming in every day for months—and everyone there was always so kind, patient, and professional.
They treated him like family and always took the time to explain what was going on and make sure we both felt okay. Losing him has been really hard, but it’s comforting to know he was looked after by such dedicated, caring people. I’m so grateful for everything they did for him (and for me).”

For three years, Dr. Denise and her staff kept Kitty healthy. Kitty came to us, so very sick and then last year he had his ear removed because of cancer. I don’t believe that kitty would have survived as long as he did without the love and care from Dr.Denise and her staff. Thanks again”
