My Range Rover Sport had gotten into an accident on my move back to NY. I had the car towed to this dealership in order to have it repaired. From the very first call to Jillian and then working with Nicole in service who is the Autobody specialist, I felt very taken care of and that they were working WITH me, not for their own interests. The car turned out to be totaled. I had to then figure out my next steps. When going to get my personal items from my car, I didn’t think I would be walking out with a new Range Rover (was actually considering a GLS63 instead). Jon in sales and Matt in finance were amazing every step of the way and really ensured I was fully satisfied with every aspect of my new purchase. Absolutely stellar experience and I have found my new home dealership for many years to come.

Most unresponsive dealership ever.They dont care to answer phone calls , they dont return to voice messages. They will call you only when your bill is ready.same experience in my last service in Oct 2022 and same now .Never they do go above and beyond to help customers.Disappointed and would not consider to buy or sell my car here.

Land Rover of Glen Cove is the epitome of why you should never trust a dealer and their service department. My profession shares space with the automotive industry and Land Rover of Glen Cove met EVERY expectation I had in the fact that a dealership will lie cheat and steal money out of your pocket. I am a powder coater by profession and employ ASE certified mechanics, we powder coat hundreds of calipers a year, both on and off cars. This is not anything new to us. Unfortunately like any shop, we do not always have the knowledge or facilities to successfully complete brand new cars without issue. In those rare circumstances, we require outside assistance. This was one of those times. On the recommendation of a friend who personally knows the service director at Glen Cove, we asked them to address some ABS related codes and braking pressure on a 2022 Land Rover Defender that we had just completed. After dropping off the SUV, our Service Advisor Devin Prediger explained to us that there is a hidden brake line above the master cylinder that only Land Rover knows about and regardless of what we did at our shop, we would never be able to bleed the system 100%. Devin explained to us that all we were looking at was a standard brake flush. We authorized the work and patiently waited for the work to be completed. This is where our nightmare begin. A couple of days later we received a call from our new service advisor, Stan Bujnowski. Stan wanted to know specifically what our process was in removing the calipers and reinstalling the calipers. He asked this on the basis that he was just trying to see if anything was out of the ordinary, we sent him our process, he replies that we permanently damaged the brake hoses because we crimped them. This caused a restriction the flow and is the source of the ABS codes. This would cost us $3,287.96 to replace. Forget the fact that these are steel reinforced rubber lines that are engineered to withstand over 8000psi, which is far more pressure that one can generate with a plastic tool and normal grip strength. They are selling brake hose lines for $700.00 with a wholesale discount, charging $80.00 in brake fluid and charging $219.00 for a brake flush. This puts the cost of installing the lines somewhere around 2200 dollars which would put their hourly labor cost at a well over 1K an hour. I kindly refused the recommendation and asked them to bill us out for the work done. $80.00 for new brake fluid and $219.00 for a brake flush plus tax. Our work order states that the brake flush was successfully completed by Range Rover (despite the flow restrictions to the lines) Leak test was successfully passed and range rover recommends new lines because the abs codes cannot be cleared. We brought it to another shop the following Monday and this shop was able to fix the car in less than 45 mins. We were told that the car was not put in service mode prior to doing the calipers. We wouldn’t have been able to do so regardless because only Authorized Range Rover programs can put their vehicles in service mode. Immediately after the new tech put the car in and out of service mode the ABS lights and brake pedal feel came back, we put the car through a proper drive cycle and all is good. Putting the car in Service mode should be STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURE for a dealership, which means either Range Rover of Glen cove employs incompetent technicians or they are straight up lying about the services they are performing on your vehicle. Either way STAY AWAY from this dealership there are far better charities you can be giving your money away to.
