On my 4th attempt to get a customer service rep on phone I asked a question about an existing Cd I have with Capital One and the lady told me I have to hold on because they are busy right now and left me on hold. I hung up after 15 minutes. This is not the first time they were rude to me at this branch

Just opened a Capital One bank account after some issues with Bank of America, and already regretting my decision. The branch in Glen Cove, NY has no functioning ATM as of the time of this post, 10/8/2023, 3pm. The drive up ATM is closed, and the ATM machine inside is not accepting withdrawals or transfers. Completely UNACCEPTABLE!

I have NEVER been to this branch. However they keep letting my ex husband have access to my account. I have reported them 3 times. They have no consideration for my privacy. This bank is disgraceful and should be closed down. I am looking to take legal action against them.

BEWARE: The ATM machine at the Glen Cove, NY Capital one sucks big time, it had got my deposits stuck 4 times with no real prove of my money been deposited, leaving to next day manually check of the money, the last time I was shorted $40. Do not use the ATM, go inside and use a teller.

The location on Forest Ave in Glen Cove is terrific. The employees are friendly and professional. One employee in particular Zachary is exceptional. He goes above and beyond. I recommend this bank and particularly this branch.

I have been a customer at Capital One for years and I always go to this branch. The tellers are always professional and friendly. But lately they changed to only drive thru. I am not happy with the change but it is probably because of Covid-19. I will still continue to go to this branch.

I’m a 15-year customer of Capital One bank. On December 7, 2020, I went to go make a cash deposit. Upon entering the bank at around 3:38pm EST, there was at least 4-5 customers in the bank with two tellers helping customers. I was second in line and no one was using the ATM. When I reached into my pocket to count my cash, I noticed I was short some money, so I left the line to see if maybe I dropped it in the parking lot or possibly at home. I went home and found what I was missing and returned to the bank. When I returned at around 4:08pm EST with my total cash amount, I was the sole customer at the bank - no one at the ATM or with the tellers. To the far right was the female bank manager. In the center was another female bank teller, and at the far left was a male bank teller. They were having a conversation when I formed a line, waiting to be helped. The female teller in the middle made eye contact with me and nodded at me to come forward. I had my cash and debit card in hand. She asked how she could help me, and I replied that I wanted to make a cash deposit. She then asked if I had my debit card, to which I replied yes. As I was going to put my debit card into the keypad, she said I could do the bank deposit at the ATM. She then return to the conversation she was having with the other two employees. I was taken aback since I was the only customer in the bank. It seemed like they were more interested with having their conversation and that they couldn’t be bothered with me and my deposit. They made me feel as if I was a huge inconvenience to them in wanting to deposit my money. What was more disturbing was that the bank manager, the older female with the glasses, seemed not to be bothered with her bank teller’s statement to me. The irony in this is that, when the bank was full when I first arrived at 3:40pm, and there were about 4-5 customers, everyone was being serviced by the bank tellers and no one was at the ATM, nor did any bank tellers instruct customers to go to the ATM. However, when I come in at 4:08pm, with no customers at all and I wait to go to a teller, I’m told to go to the ATM. This brings me great concern of the customer service that patrons are given at this bank location. If Capital One headquarters reads this review, please look at the time stamps and date and use the camera footage from the bank to train all employees and Branch Mangers of what terrible customer service looks like. If there ever was any indication as how customer service is handle at this location (115 Forest Ave, Glen Cove, N.Y. 11542) let these google reviews be the testament as it seem Capital One only responds to the Positive reviews. Horrible!

I am giving this 5 stars to the staff named Salma... she is helpful, sincere, knowledgeable and efficient. she fixed a problem for me and did a transfer for me when there were so many people behind me... I was nervous and felt bad but she would take care of the situation with patience and calm. Other staffs filled in too!

Always long lines with only one teller on a weekday afternoon. Tellers are also not the friendliest.

Visited the bank to make a withdrawal for an amount not available at the ATM. Fifteen minutes spent in the bank due to only one teller window open. The drive through was also closed. When I finally made my transaction, I was helped by a strange looking gentlemen with no uniform, jeans , numerous tattoos and large earrings. Sadly this bank is like many others not providing enough service at the teller windows.
