Music was good. It was my first time going. It is winter, and they have heaters. It was a tad chilly, though . It did not seem to have enough seating. Hard cider was awesome, and there was a food truck.

Rockland Cider Works - Upstate Partner/Owner Elisabeth (Morkaut) Van Houten was born and raised on Stryker Road in Gilboa, NY. Elisabeth & her husband, Darin, reside in Orangeburg, NY where they own Rockland County’s first & only hard cidery, Rockland Cider Works located at their farm & garden center Van Houten Farms. Our cider production began in 2018. In the Spring of 2021, the opportunity to acquire the existing family homestead at Elisabeth’s parents’ retired dairy farm in Gilboa became a reality when Darin’s cousin Delana agreed to join their team as General Manager of what is now Rockland Cider Works – Upstate.
