I really love this golf course. It’s an easy play with excellent views. The greens are in really good shape. Every time I go there it looks like they’re making additional improvements to the site. Weird WebCams in the woods at some of the holes but otherwise nothing to be too concerned about.

Interesting... Not bad to just go out to hit some balls. Needs maintenance. I think the potential is there for a nice 9 hole course. Probably end up with 200 houses unfortunately

Good course for golfers who just want to play a quick 9 hole round. Not too challenging but far from easy. No tee time required so one can come whenever it's convenient. Never too crowded and maintained fine for a municipal course

I literally did grow up on this course in the mid 1970’s when it was called Cedar Meadows. This 9 hole golf course was originally a dairy farm owned by the Karpiak Family. They converted the farm into a golf course sometime in the 1960’s. We lived with the family for a time in the old farm house. My father Charlie “Chick” Rathbun was the golf pro there and also oversaw the restaurant they converted out of the old barn. I remember the old barn/restaurant caught fire one night, and we had to evacuate the farm house. We watched as the barn burned to the ground losing everything we owned that was stored in the lofts. That was a pretty scary night for a 7 year old kid. The Karpiak Family rebuilt the restaurant bigger and better as well as updated the pro shop.Other things I remember:1. Sitting on the #1 tee box watching planes take off and land at the airport next door.2. Swimming in the ponds searching for lost golf balls with our feet keeping clear of the turtles!!3. The early morning fog and dew on the grass setting out to change the hole placements on thegreens.4. Playing 36 holes of golf in one day with a pull cart and living my best 7 year old life.5. Fishing and swimming in the pond over the hill on the back side of the property.Lots of great memories of this place. If anyone remembers the old Cedar Meadows or my Dad Chick Rathbun give me a shout.Charlie Rathbun

New owner definitely is actively improving. Need a pro shop and some bunkers to complete it.

Fun course! Greens look great and they’re actively installing new drainage. A lot of hard work has been put into this course and it shows. Can’t beat $20 for 9 holes with a cart.

I grew up on this course back when it was a restaurant. It's now just a golf course, but I tell you what the greens are the best they have been in 10 years, the prices are fair and it's a great beginners course. It's no country club and there is no drink cart but that's not needed. You can play a solo round of 9 in about 1.5hrs if no one is in front of you and you don't search for balls. Worth every penny.

Odd layout and very wet in the spring, but a fun and inexpensive place to go out and hack it around.

Weather has major impact on play, drainage is poor, clay base long time to dry out.
