I've lived in Ghent for over a year now, and my husband grew up in Ghent. Once the management at Xtra Mart changed, so did their service. Now it's pretty awful - and most of the locals say so. Are you using a card to pay for your gas? Good luck. 8 out of 10 times either their "network is down" or their pumps just won't register cards... What it really comes down to is they haven't had maintenance on their pumps in quite some time. They truly do not care about the surrounding community and the family values that once made Xtra mart the place to go for gas & snacks is now an obnoxious place that takes more time out of your day than the convenience and good costumer service place that it once was. Ghent is ashamed.
