Been going to Mike for over 8 years. The reason for the loyalty is simple. One repair, I fully believed I needed new brakes. Budgeted for it in my head and I even said to Mike, "I think I need a brake job". I dropped the car off in the morning and got a call shortly after thinking it was Mike telling me how much it would be. Nope, it was Mike telling me I could pick my car up, he just needed to remove a bunch of surface rust. I won't go to anyone else.

Mike and his next door mentor John T. Have cared for our used out of warranty work since 1986, because nobody does it better, and takes care of our cars the way they do . Trustworthy and honest service including pricing.

My daughter, a student at UB had her transmission go on her 2012 Chevy Cruze. Called Mikes since it was right next door to her apt. Mike and the receptionist were great. He found used transmission and installed in a timely fashion! Very satisfied with this establishment and would highly recommend!!Service: Engine repair

I was referred to them by a rep at a nearby gas station when my low tire pressure light came on.Mike checked all four tires for me and added air to them. I tried to pay him for his time but he wouldn’t take anything.Service: Tires

Was driving by when I realized my inspection sticker was the wrong color. Took a flyer by stopping in and they took care of it right away. Did not even laugh while I was there about my lack of timeliness in state inspections. I will definitely come back when i have something significant that needs doing.

I called to schedule my NYS inspection and although they weren't able to get me in the day I called, they were able to get me in 3 days later. It was easy to schedule my appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off, the man who took my keys was clearly one of the mechanics. He wasn't overly friendly but was prompt and let me know they'd call me with any issues and when it was ready. I asked him to look at the breaks to let me know how much life was left in them and he said he would. They called a few hours later when it was ready with no issues. When I stopped by to pick up my vehicle, there was a woman working the desk who wasn't there that morning and cashed me out. She didn't mention anything about my breaks though so I was a bit disappointed about that when I realized after I left. They were professional but not overly friendly or welcoming. The office itself was an absolute mess and did not give off a professional appearance, but that's not something I typically expect at a mechanic anyway. They should clean it up a bit though because there was nowhere to set my things down while I signed my receipt.
