Tony is the best, warmest, most welcoming person I’ve met in the region. The wine was good but it was more about Tony! The land is beautiful and the people are amazing. The 1 star reviews are mind boggling to me. This place is a hidden gem and a must visit.

Flights are $10 each (very reasonable!) and include a cheese stick and some crackers. I tried a white flight and red flight. Each had some good options - ended up buying 4 bottles to take home.
The owner was so hospitable, sharing family stories and a varietal history of some wines. This is my second time coming. I prefer the Portuguese influenced reds to the whites but there's something for everyone here!
Plenty of parking, inside or outside seating available.

We accidentally came upon this winery because we were looking for one that's open on a 4th of July holiday. Great place and good wines. If we only knew, we could have brought a picnic basket with sandwich, cheese and crackers and pair these with there wines. I loved the summer wines (white and rose) and my husband loved their Cabernet Franc. (We bought to bring home too.) This place is pet-friendly, kid-friendly and a great & relaxed place to unwind.

My wife and I are avid "Winers". This our second time in the lower hudson valley wine trail and I must say Clermont and its ower Al are the hidden gem in this area. Solid Dry Red wines and the only vineyard in the area with imports from Portugal. Very friendly and Al has a great personality and is quick to spin a delightful yarn or tell you about himself and his story!! There is also a great BBQ place across the street. Delightful Experience and Good wine!!!!

The owner was serving us our wine flights and was able to share aspects of himself and the wine we were tasting. Overall, we had 2 flights one red and one white. We walked away with one bottle of each which were reasonably priced. This is our second time at this location for a tasting. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Great guy, very nice. Was extremely hospitable and took us on a tour of his winery. He answered all my questions about how the grapes grow and explained some really interesting things. Keep being yourself and don’t let any negative reviews bother you. People are too finikey and need to enjoy the experiences they have. Look at the bright side guys and don’t judge nice people please. Would love to return for scenery and company. Remember friends are all we have in this cold world

If I had the option to give zero stars I would. Clermont Vineyards lacks any sort of hospitality. The man who runs the tasting room is a curmudgeon. There are a handful of better wineries to visit in the HV.

A great afternoon at the Clermont Vineyard & Winery! The views are absolutely beautiful and our host, Tony, was awesome. We sampled both red and white wines made on-site and talking to Tony was like talking to an old friend. We can't wait to visit again!

Loved the venue, quiet and serene locale. The winemaker was very friendly and attentive. Surprised how quiet it was because we had the place to ourselves. My wife and I enjoyed all the wines, and the flight price was very friendly. It's also the only winery I've ever been to that gave you something outside of oyster crackers or pretzel sticks that everyone sticks their hands in. Granted it was just cheese sticks and Ritz crackers, but a complimentary palate cleanser is absolutely appreciated.

Tony was a knowledgeable and gracious host when we visited this past weekend as our first stop of a wine tour for a bachelorette party. We enjoyed a guided tasting indoors before purchasing a few bottles & heading outside to enjoy the ground. BBQ food from the neighbors was excellent, and we were able to enjoy our own charcuterie we brought. Extremely well priced, highly recommend!

We stopped by here for a wine tasting and bought a couple bottles to take with us. The setting was a deck with a few tables near the highway. The wine was pretty decent and we were well served by the courteous New Yorkers who work here. There were some wasps who may have built a nest under the deck, but they didn't cause too much trouble.
