I had an issue at the Waterloo brach which was only a question that escalated fast. However was later answered & solved by Laura in the Geneva branch. Great customer service & a very personable person. Great understanding of how the company works. Very appreciative for that. Thank you Laura great job.

On 9/16 I called to make a transfer mortgage payment from my account, I always verify there's enough in there for payment, during the call I was told it would be processed that day. Today I went to pay October and found out September was never paid, speaking with the branch manager she said there is no way to verify the call on their end and they don't record calls and that I need to better manage my checkbook and verify they actually processed the transfer payment, now I'm stuck with a late fee. I learned I can no longer trust this branch and need to be more cautious and verify they actually processed payments from here on. I've had no issues for the last 2 years making transfer payments so I got complacent in trusting them.

Strengths: It's been around a long time, and has a lot of locations through the area. Weakness: ROTTEN customer service. They don't answer their phone... but invite you to leave a message so they can get back to you! They did nothing after repeated requests that they put a calendar on the check-writing desk in one of their branches. (How much work is *that*?!) They've closed branches, and I honestly wonder if this bank is about to shut down. I'm looking to move to a different bank after having been a customer of this bank for 27 years.
