It is great to have a furniture store that has great sales people that know their product! The Ashley products are updated styles, very comfortable. We do visit other competitive stores but always end up in Geneva @ Ashley's! . Seasoned service employees are prompt ant they are very neat and very efficient! We highly recommend you to check this store out you won't be disappointed!

Out of all of the businesses I've ever encountered this is the worst. The owner is out for himself and definitely not the customers or his poor employees. there are shady business practices daily in every transaction and the installers can't be kept because they're not contractors, licensed, employees or even sober. Lock up your valuables if you choose them or better yet, drive to Rochester. you won't regret it.

I would never use them again their installers were put in my home and I thought they actually worked for them NOPE subcontractors with criminal records. I was robbed!

My wife received an Ashley Homestore gift card as a gift, so we went here today to find something small to use it on. We spent about an hour browsing the store, and the young lady who assisted us was extremely pleasant and helpful. After finding an item I was interested in, I asked if the gift card was valid at this store. The associate was very nice about it and informed us that generally gift cards for Ashley are only valid at the store where purchased. (Have you ever heard of a gift card for a chain store being valid at only 1 location?) she called over the manager and asked him to double check and see if our money was good there. The manager was downright rude about the issue. My wife was very upset by his attitude and as we left the store after deciding not to make a purchase, he actually sneered at us! I can't recall ever having experienced such poor customer service before. If you're looking for some affordable mid-range furniture, this is an ok spot. If you're looking for polite customer service and to be treated with respect, shop elsewhere.

I have to agree with Erinne C., if I could give it no stars I would. My parent's who are both 88 years old purchased 2 recliners from Chris, but once they were delivered they discovered the backs on both chairs were coming apart, and that they were very uncomfortable. My mother called Chris to ask if she could return the chairs; he got really snippy with her and told her that he would have to charge a $300 restocking fee and that he would have the service department call her back that day by noon. That was 3 days ago and she hasn't heard a word. Customer service is one of the most important parts about dealing with a business, and you can bet that my family and friends will never do business with Ashley in Geneva again.

My experience with Geneva Ashley is mixed. When my boyfriend and I walked in, Chris was very friendly and engaging. He was very helpful in providing his opinions and showing us sofa examples online. The main reason we purchased over $1000 worth of furniture is because Chris confirmed that he had all my furniture items in stock and would be delivered in 6-10 days to our home. On the 10th day when we had not received our furniture, I called Chris and left messages for him to contact me. I waited a total of 4 weeks before finally calling it quits because I had still not received my furniture and Chris still did not call me back! I went into the store and requested a refund. I am done shopping with Ashley in Geneva.

Purchased a matters box spring and headboard here box spring came broke didn't notice till we moved some of the employees are great the owner not so much he be littled us and wanted to treat us like we were doing something wrong when the real problem was his broken furniture and the way he treats his customers. Do not go here I would never go back and wish I never spent money here before the place is awful. Seems like a common thing for people to get furniture from here and it be broken or not delivered on time. Listen to my warning I wish I would have listened to the others. DO NOT GO THERE

If I could give no stars I would. Went to Ashley about 6 months ago to purchase a new mattress, box spring, and headboard. They said everything would be delivered by Wednesday. That Tuesday I called and asked if we could pick it up ourselves and they said we could so when we got there they loaded THE WRONG item. There was such a lack of communication with them that they didn't even have our bed down there for us to pick up. It wasn't until this past Saturday (April) that we moved and noticed something wasn't right with the box spring. Upon removing the dust cover, we noticed the flimsy 2 x 4 was broken right in half. It was now 6 months later so we decided to go in and see what could be done. Doug, the one we originally bought it from, did his best to try and help us, but told us since it's been 6 months there wasn't much he could do. Then Jim (i'm assuming is their GM) tried to help. He came behind the counter and immediately started ridiculing me for how I was standing. Told me this was a friendly place and my arms crossed and hand on hip was "threatening" to him. He then proceeded to tell my boyfriend and I that he wasn't calling us criminals but it sure felt like he was. He then refused to help us because we weren't being "nice enough". I was extremely frustrated because we spent over $1,500 on this new bed and they were refusing to help us again because my boyfriend wasn't smiling because he was not amused with how rudely and disrespectfully Jim was talking to us. He was going to give us a new box spring for free but the catch was that we had to fake smile and act happy even though we were extremely frustrated. So basically what happened was...he tried to BRIBE us to be nice to get something for free. He told my boyfriend he knew his dad and tried to hold that against him to be nice. He then gave us his phone number and told us to call back at 1pm when we were ready to be nice because he didn't like how the situation was going. All we wanted was some help, which Doug was offering, but then Jim came in and made us feel like we were the problem and would not resolve our issue for us. They don't stand behind their products and obviously for a good reason. Not to mention, as we were leaving a FedEx worker walking in with a box for the store dropped it right on the sidewalk. So if you want broken furniture Ashley is the place to go to. I work in customer service, I know what dealing with difficult customers is like, but never ONCE have I EVER bribed a customer. We are extremely upset with the treatment we received from Jim Colizzi and we will not be bringing our business back to Geneva Ashley Furniture. Unless you want to be treated like a child, 10/10 definitely would NEVER recommend.
