I dropped off my truck to have some side damage from a deer collision repaired. They said it would take about a week to finish. I went back a little over a week later to find that the rear door that was caved in did not get an OEM door skin as approved by the insurance company, but they instead tried to "repair the existing rear door as it was less invasive". Basically the job would have been more profitable for them had it worked. I would have been ok with that if the body line looked remotely correct and the door didn't look like a rolling ocean. There were also two window vent shades missing, so I refused to accept the truck and insisted it be fixed correctly. The second time I went to get the truck I noticed a couple of paint runs, and they literally ruined the sunshield visor. I went in and said I hate to be that guy but I have to complain, the lady behind the counter said, "of course you do" and brought out the tech to look at the truck. The tech was defensive and said she took the visor off before baking the paint and I said it was never taken off and when she insisted that she removed it, I stopped the discussion about it right there. What they didn't know was that one of the the plastic thread covers on the visor bolts I personally super glued on as it was the only one that was loose. It was on the same bolt thread and exactly how I left it when I glued it (It was in a specific position). They offered to pay for the part and install it, if I ordered it and presented them with the invoice. At this point I felt insulted and my trust in them was already faltered, so I took the truck to a different collision shop to get the visor repair made. It cost me additional money, but I probably should have went to them in the first place and possibly avoided this unpleasant experience. Live and learn. I hesitated to leave this review, but a family member said to me, maybe this will help someone else.

My car was rear ended and got towed to Geneseo Collision. They allowed me to come after hours to clean my car out which was super helpful. They also took my plates off for me and in the panic of getting rear ended I gave them my whole keychain and they took the other little keychains off and gave them to me when I picked my plates up. They paid attention to the small details to make such a terrible thing not so bad. Everyone I talked to there was super friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience!

Can't say enough good things about these first class professionals. Some knucklehead broke off my sons driver's side mirror in the SUNY Geneseo dorm parking lot. I came all the way from Lake George to deal with it and some car repairs as well. First off it was so convenient how they were located right next to M&R Auto Repair. Geneseo Collision gave me a quick estimate and got the job done quickly at a very fair price! Once the repairs were done at M&R Geneseo Collision went right over and drove the car to there shop and took care of it. It was so nice that even though I was 300 miles away that everyone treated us so well. We will definitely be back as my son has 2 more years of school here and my 16 year old is planning on attending here as well. Thank You!
