“Great people, great products. I stopped getting my chicken feed from here because it was more expensive than other commercial farm stores, but i was pleasantly surprised when I stopped last week and my items came out to less than what I had been spending! They have everything. Stuff for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens (and more). The same friendly faces every time. This business is a gem. I would recommend stopping and checking this place out even if you don't have animals. They have garden supplies and candy too!”

“Recently built a new home and I used Van Putte for all my landscaping as well as installation of the lawn. They went above and beyond my expectations. My lawn is completely full after only 8 short weeks. The attention to detail throughout the whole process was amazing. “Been buying pig food for the last two years and the last six months or so you can't seem to get it? Even though it shows eight in inventory for the last four months maybe longer. Don't know who does your inventory but you really should learn how to do it. Been buying the feed elsewhere. Was told many times that it was coming in but never shows up. Spend a lot of money on feed there the last two+ years you just lost a famer who will be going elsewhere from now on. UPDATED: I was contacted by one of the owners and he corrected the problem, and all is good. Great customer service. Update 5 stars for Customer service”
“Came here to check out their selection of window blinds and to see how they actually work. They had a nice set up with a few different models to try out. Found out they offer more colors on line than in the store. They are able to customs cut the blinds in store if needed. Good to know! The store has so many home items and a fair price. I was checking out their garden, hardware and carpet areas. Definitely a great place to shop when updating your home or yard. Staff was very friendly and greeted me more than one occasion. Located on west ridge road, parking lot was busy but it was a Saturday...”
“I went to the store to get plywood. George in the lumber section helped me. He was extremely patient, very professional, resourceful and very kind to not only recommend the correct hinges for my project but also helped put the wood planks together for me. He went over and above helping us!!I was later helped by Maureen at the Service desk to make truck rental arrangements. She went over and above too to stow my items overnight. I am very thankful to George , Maureen and the Home Depot team . You guys rock!! It's a pleasure coming to this place which is so full of kind professionals.”

“Country Max is such a fun and unique store. Not only does it have amazing gardening supplies and beautiful plants, but they have a retro candy and gift area, as well as snacks, drinks, clothing, footwear, and items for your pets, and unique outdoor decor. I also love checking out their live animals at the back of the store. They have all types of birds, and small lizards, and other animals. They also sell live foo for your pets and set ups and food for any new pet you take home. You really need to check out Country Max. It will be one of your new favorite stores I promise you.”
“I don't come to this location often, only because it isn't that close to home and we are the kinda people that start a task and have to go shopping while the house is basically torn a part. I always get a little lost at first, because I am a Lowe's shopper by default. The last time I was in here, I got great assistance from an employee! He helped me find potting soil and even carried it to a cart for me. He was fantastic! I really appreciate the self check out in this store. Spacious and it is quick and easy to use. Definitely a nice hardware store.”

“They have what you need, usually when you need it. Recommend to reserve what you want if you can. Staffing is an issue at times, as they can be busy or are not present when needed.”
“It can be hard to get a pickup truck when you want it as not all stores may have one available. You can reserve one only at the Henrietta store, otherwise it's first come, first served. I've had reservations canceled on me a couple of times, which is really annoying if you've lined up hired help for your job. Depending on which store you rent from, you may get an older or newer truck. It can be hit or miss. So far I've hired from the Greece, Irondequoit and Henrietta stores. Make sure you have your driver ID and insurance card with you when you go or they will not rent a truck or to you.”
“I come here pretty often. Employees are nice. If you're having trouble finding something, I recommend searching it on the website and then going to the aisle that the website says it's in. Makes everyone's shopping a little easier.”
