In the beginning I was shocked to learn that their record keeping is very old school. They do not have a portal for patients to look over records, fill prescriptions… They also don’t draw patients blood at the office, you have to go to a Quest Diagnostics lab.But this is the kicker and why I changed doctors. In late August my 3 year old had began to develop a cough. I brought her in and I was told it was allergies. The cough would come and go. As the weeks progressed it began to get worse little by little. Long story short, over the course of 3 months, I took her three times and they didn’t do much, just told me it was allergies. They even made me feel like I was a bad parent because she had lost so much weight but it was because the coughing would make her throw up. In the end, I took her to the ER and it turns out she had bronchitis in both lungs. A week after antibiotics she’s back to her normal self. Save yourself the trouble with this office. This office is incapable of rendering proper treatment or diagnosis.

Worst experience ever, one of the ladies from the front desk was very rude and prepotent, I feel like not taking my son back there again.

I have been taking my children here for the past 15 years and not one single appointment ever was I disappointed. I have recently came with my 13 and 18 year olds not to long ago, because of what happened during COVID, I assumed it was necessary to call the desk to confirm my arrival. A small safety feature installed by many doctors after the pandemic. The young women on the other line answered and when I confirmed my arrival, responded in an attitude like manner saying “Okay, Walk in please with a mask thanks.” And hangs up as I was about to say thank you. We walk in and right away, the young women at the desk clearly tells us to keep a small distance from the other clientele that was on their way out of the practice. Then after my children were released for basic routines they have been doing at this practice, blood pressure, hearing, and using the bathroom and the cup. Overall the regular check-up when smooth and well. The doctors here have always been phenomenal and professional! Before leaving the young women yet again on my departure from the practice said, “excuse me, stay here please. I need you to collect this paperwork from here.” Now I understand working at a practice after a national pandemic is extremely difficult but it has been 3 years and a tone like that women at the front desk was unpleasant. A small part of me stated if I want to switch practices, but because of how long I have been apart of North Rockland Pediatrics, I stayed loyal because of how wonderful each doctor my child receives on their appointments/ check ups. Overall, the front desk may need to brighten up their attitudes and smile more. Everyone is stressed at every part of the day.

The best. Dr Troy and the rest of the staff are part of the family. From the moment we walk through the door we are greeted with such warmth and welcome. My kids love going for their check ups.

I have been going there with my daughter since 2012 and have moved multiple times and no matter the distance I still take my daughter here. I love all the staff (from clerical, nursing, phone agents to the doctors) they are all kind, professional and honest. I live an hr away right now and i still take my daughter there.

Staff at counter was super rude and unfriendly. Was sent to ill waiting room with my new born and we were not even ill. Will be moving to a different pediatric practice. They tried to put a mask on my 2 year old which makes no sense at all as masks are no longer mandatory.

staff was always pleasant . Never able to see the same doctor they would always say his doctor was booked very impersonal never got to build a relationship overlooked a serious health issue my son had that Clarkstown pediatrics picked up at his first appointment I needed a letter and they said they could not give it to me because they didn’t have enough information on my sons therapy yet they are the ones who signed off on it for his insurance purposes ....do not recommend .

My two children have been seeing the Doctors at North Rockland Pediatrics since birth. The Doctors and the receptionists have always been fantastic to us.
