After having a bad experience trying to get passports done at another usps. We came here to hoping to get it done. Gary helped us with a smile very pleasant and knows what he's doing. Had all our things in order very quickly.

We originally went to roosevelt field originally to get my passport done but they were no longer accepting walk ins. I looked up nearby walk in acceptance facilities and this spot came up. We came here hoping to get it done fast and the line was pretty short. The guy working, his name is Gary. He was supposed to go on break but he stayed a bit longer to help me out. He is super nice and friendly and has a positive attitude. He helped us get it done super quick and also found out we shared the same birthday. Super lucky to have found this place and have Gary help us, also finished within 10ish minutes, very satisfied.

I went as a walk in and despite the longlines and a customer having 50 questions, I experienced the best Customer Service in NewYork since moving here I went to different post office to inquire about a passport for my child and always had rude workers with attitude coming here to this location this lady I think her name is Shallecee she has short black hair she gave me the best customer service help she has a great attitude it's 30min drive from my home but I'm okay driving that distance just to have that great vibe welcoming experience. Thank you for your help and patience!! Post office need more people like you!

Garden City Post Office on Stewart Ave has a serious problem with checks being stolen out of the mail even if brought into the building. Beware sending checks thru the mail at this location!

Horrible service. No direct phone line to a human, just a barely functional automated system. I ordered something from a place which is one hour's distance from my house, and IT TOOK THREE DAYS TO GET HERE!!! That's over 2400% longer than it should have taken. The USPS is a bad joke, and should be avoided like the plague. If I could've given them less than one star, I would have!

Paid for Certified , Signature verification , return receipt . Over $10.00. GUESS WHAT ,MY VERY IMPORTANT DOCUMENT IS IN LIMBO AT GARDEN CITY.This facility is a disaster . And to think my and your taxpayer money subsidizes these people .A DISCRACE .Can I get a refund ?Their answer is TRY IT .To the management there .Straigten out or GET FIRED !These people a good for delivering postcards and junk mail.Any serious documents better off using UPS or FedEx .I will seek out the one closest to me.

Every single time I have mailed MAIL from this post office, it never gets delivered,, Now if someone can explain to me how this happens I would b happy to hear it,, also if u guys closed at 7pm, WHY DO U CLOSE AND LOCKED THE DOORS AT 6:55pm- You are still on the clock for an additional 5min,, it’s RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

This is the best Post office in the area. When it is busy, the workers seem highly efficient and are very polite. I always look forward to coming to this post office when I can.

Do not work for the USPS Western Nassau P& DC in Garden City! As M.H.A. or P.S.E. The management and the Union rep. They don't care about you! There are so many people just not working and hiding from work, and the management just doesn't care. Union works with management, so don't think they're on your side. The worst place to work!

This is my second rude encounter with Nathalie. There was a long line of people waiting for passports and only one person at the window so an older gentleman with their uniform on told me stand at the window to the side and a young lady would come to help me. After 15 mins of waiting Nathalie comes from the back and approaches the window so I step forward thinking she was there to help me and she looked at me and aggressively said "I'm not back yet" rolled her eyes, turned around and disappeared to the back. Lol the first time I came to thisLocation she told me this is the first and last time she would be taping a package close for me because they don't have packaging tape. Oddly enough there was one right next to her.

My experience is limited to just dropping off pre-paid packages, but the fact that this location is open until 7pm merits the 5 stars. More Post Offices should be open late, IMO. Grateful for this.
