I placed an order online for store pickup assuming the store has it in stock. Instead it is being shipped to the store for me to pick up. The order has not been shipped but they claim they cannot cancel it. I see why Neiman Marcus is in it's last legs. Horrible service.

no wonder this place has bad reviews, came in for a return in which I called customer service and they said I could return in store. went to the store to cosmetics as this was a cosmetic item , mind you, unopened . sales worker Gerson told me to go upstairs to customer service which when I went upstairs there was no customer service. only to now have no one help me because they cannot take cosmetic upstairs so the new worker I was dealing with called the manager Allison for me. the worker who called Allison seemed more concerned with the lack of customer service Gerson gave me than she did! she didn't even ask his name or want me to show him to her so she could rectify the problem. I was so upset with the back and forth i left the store without doing the return. I will never be a neiman marcus customer again! for the amount of money spent in the store you would think their level of service would be better than JCP! hahahahahah this place is a joke and the ppl here suck big time! what losers To edit: I'll be taking my purchases to Nordstrom's where they value customers. I never had a bad experience there.

Sadly I have been discriminated against by this merchant for the 3rd time and this time I'm filing a lawsuit for racial discrimination. My wife and I decided to spend Christmas in our New York home, we currently live in New Jersey and decided to do all the tourist attractions over the holidays. I ordered a 1400 coat for her and 172 turtleneck for myself and have it shipped to the store because the package pirates are out this time of year. On the 11th December I picked up the coat which is the more expensive item and I used my expired ID to get it. The transaction went over well. I also had it gift wrapped. On the 17th of December I returned to pick up the turtleneck. The parking lot was a nightmare. So I called inside for curbside pickup. Young woman came down with the package and asked for my ID which clearly displays my name and my NJ address. She first says my ID is expired and then she explains she has to take the package back from me and get a manager to approve the release of it. I waited for her and she didn't return so I entered the store. Normally All I need is the confirmation email to pick up my package so I don't understand all of this. I go to the package pickup area and I confront the woman again and she calls the manager Vincent who right from the start is unprofessional and bias towards me. I tried to give him my Neiman Marcus Card which also has my name is current and he refuses to accept it or look up my account using my phone number. Let me add that as I looked up within moments of entering the store, security was right behind me and I never went anywhere near store merchandise on the shelves or racks. They followed me to the package pickup area and stood around while I spoke with Vincent. I wasn't getting nowhere with him so I told him to send it back and I will be bringing back the coat as well. I'm a black male age 57. I own one of the largest black owned construction companies in NJ and I am sick of being profiled by this company. Mind you every article of clothing that I was wearing came from them with the exception of my COACH knit hat. I was wearing 1200 Bally Boots, a 1400 Coat, and 600 PRPS matching warmup suit. All purchased from them. So if you're selling me high quality clothing and you're still profiling me, then you're profiling the color of my skin. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits this type of discrimination and intend to make them pay this time. I'll see you in Court Mr Vincent who was very smart with his mouth and had the nerve to tell me later on the phone it don't matter how much money you spend here or what kind of car you drive! How do you know what kind of car I drove because you never came downstairs. Which means you and the woman who came to curbside pickup had a conversation about my vehicle which just happened to be 90k Benz.... But according to you I'm a black thief. Not a successful black man.

Want to say that Alma Alas in alterations is the BEST. My daughter's wedding is in LA this weekend, and I have to fly there on Thursday. On Sunday I tried on the gown I'm wearing and it needed a last minute alteration! Disaster to be sure unless I could get it fixed immediately! Alma to the rescue. Alma did it while I waited at the store on Sunday. So accommodating. Plus now it's absolutely PERFECT. Thank you, Alma, for saving the day!

Nice store, nice selection of things, but that's as far as it goes. The employees talk to you as though you're annoying them by shopping there. No smiles, no pleasantries, just flat faces and tones. And this was at multiple registers. One register had 3 employees standing there talking to each other, they barely acknowledged me for 3 minutes before one woman decided she was done talking and stormed back to her department. Not sure if race had anything to do with it, but it definitely felt that way, since other customers received more pleasant exchanges. I've never seen a large amount of people in there and I'm sure this is part of the reason why. Sorry but I can't spend my money in a place where they treat you like that.

I ordered two YSL handbags online, which I had to return. One came with no box and the bottom half of the leather was wrinkled and misshapened due to being stored without protection and the other bag was assymetrical at the rounded corners of the bag which is a manufacture flaw (mini camera bag). It's sad that they would ship out supposedly new, designer bags that do not match the quality of the price tag or designer label. Please be more diligent with your quality control in your inventory.

Purchased online for same day pickup and without any notification order was unavailable and basically was told too bad we will let you know when, this was a gift for that evening, subsequently that evening I received a text it was now available for pickup which was too late, I did pick it up the T because I had already paid for it and now they want to investigate ha ha This is the reason Amazon thrives and the big stores don't, was there next store was EMPTY!

I just had the most amazing shopping experience today. My fiancé purchased a YSL bag for my birthday for an online pick up that was just thrown in the bag. No box, finger prints everywhere, basically a display item thrown in a bag with no thought or care. I was also returning a purchase and was greeted by the MOST AMAZING SA named Sandy who showed us the real shopping experience at Neiman! Thank you so MUCH Sandy for your amazing services! Not only were you knowledgeable about the items, you were passionate and understood the assignment honey! We love you and appreciate meeting you! We'll be back because of you!!! Made an appointment for a personal shopper online with Jill G.Showed up at date and time where I specified I was looking specifically for Tadashi Shoji Dresses.Not only was I informed that Jill G works in the show department but not one associate was a able to show me a single dress for the designer I requested nor did they offer any alternatives.I was blow away by the the lack of customer service and assistance. This was a very disappointing experience where I was so excited to get fitted for a dress to walk. my daughter down the aisle in October.I was also informed the alteration department would not be helping me with a dress not purchased from the store.How can I purchase from the store when there is not one size sample to try on?I was able to buy directly from the designer website with 30 % off.Very low inventory for such an exclusive store. Unfortunately I will not be shopping here again.

I've been shopping with Ray Roop virtually since 2016 when I lived in Seattle and have moved all over the country since then and he's been nothing but amazing helping me with what I need! He's helped me find tons of products from hair products, makeup, perfume, bags, shoes & clothes. He responds extremely quickly & the shipping is always super fast! I cant wait to visit him in person one day & officially meet him in person! He's my go to person for anything and will continue to be whenever I need anything! Best sales associate ever!!

Associates here are not profiling the clients which is so comfortable to come even if you only browse. And even you say you want to take time in choosing your color or style they won't rush you. I love the atmosphere and the room to browse. A very elegant yet accommodating store to shop. Lavettt
