I’m the kind of person to read reviews, and this was my first visit to Eastern Numismatists. I felt comfortable and right at home. My dad left me coins I knew nothing about, the value, the age, the significance or history. Joe sat down with me in a comfortable office and gave me a history lesson…a timeline of sorts, which related to world events as it related to the production of coins, the silver and gold content, the weight, and the age, and I witnessed an incredible machine which miraculously determined the percentage of metal in each coin. I was learning. I had also had fun. The coin values were explained, the profit margins, melt value, rarity.. and time invested to sell a coin, made me fully appreciate how much this family business meant to Joe. He was honest in his assessment. I’ll be back. with additional jars of coins to go through, but will see them in them in the concept of history.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this family owned establishment. I met with Eugene who quoted me a fair price when selling them a few silver Britannias.
He was extremely friendly and so was his brother Anthony and their staff member Lori. It’s quite a large store and they have a wide variety of collectible items they buy and sell.
I left there feeling so good in how well I was treated. What comes to mind is a warm. super friendly vibe akin to a Bed and Breakfast. You can think of them as the Bed and Breakfast ofJewelry stores. I give them my highest recommendation.

Joe was great!!!! On top of giving us top dollar, he gave us great history lessons. The place is beautiful also. Sat in our own private room. Highly recommend!!!!

These people are clueless when it comes to coins. They’re very disorganized and painful to deal with. Only reason I would go back is because they actually have great inventory to choose from, so I’ll put up with the headaches.

I had a large collection of O gauge trains to sell. I brought some trains out to get an idea of how much they would buy them for. Everyone there was friendly and really know their stuff. I returned on several trips after that and every time I received professional care and a more than fair price! I highly recommend Eastern Numismatics!
