Worst terrible bank ever you could find. Stay away seriously. They charge fees without asking and agreement. Scamming bank I ever experience. I’m so shocked that Citibank is like this. I hope Citibank will contact me after read this review to solve problems. They charged fees every month without me agreeing and person who open this account name Eva and then Lisa both left this bank and nobody wanna take responsibility and Nichole Adams has been telling me she is working on it but it is over 1 year now and she never gets back to me so I have to call her. Every time she said she is working on it. But I keep getting fees without reasons. Terrible. I truly regret. I wanna leave this bank but business is related and hard to transfer to another bank. It is just a nightmare. Terrible terrible terrible. Especially this garden Citi location is the worst.

The Citibank branch at 500 Old Country Rd is the absolute worst..Every week I make deposits for my church using my personal bank card which I was told years ago that I had to open to make deposits because they could no longer take deposits with me just using my Driver's license. So in essence, the bank card would serve as ID. Since I only use it for deposit, it closed due to "no activity". But I was still able to make deposits using the church's account number and my Citibank card. For some reason, Seweeta Sani(teller) asked me for ID in addition to the Citibank card to make a deposit. I asked her if the Citibank card wasn't enough since I make deposits weekly a d no one ever asks me for additional ID. She said "no" because my account was closed. I proceeded to tell her that it's not being deposited into the "closed account " but rather the church's account in which she said it didn't matter and that she was following the rules. So I gave her my license..Another time I stopped by the branch and was not serviced by Saweeta, I only used my Citi card and the deposit was made. The 3rd time I went to the branch, Saweeta was the one who serviced me and once again asked for additional ID and I asked her "Why are you the only one that ever asks for additional ID? I go to different branches and no one else does". Her response was that she's the only one that's doing her job correctly. So today, I went back to the branch and noticed that I had left my Driver's license home, but luckily I had my Job ID on me and lo and behold, it was the infamous Saweeta that called me over and you guessed it, asked for additional ID. I told her I didn't have my Driver's license on me but I did have my Job ID in which she responded that she couldn't make the deposit. So I asked to speak to a manager and Mr Haque comes by and tells me since I don't have my Driver's license, I can't make the deposit and then says "you can go to another branch but we're not taking your deposit here". I felt so humiliated and had alot of thoughts going on in my mind as to why a courtesy was not exercised. I ended up leaving that branch and went to another one, and made the deposit with just the bank card...Make it make sense

I have only had the opportunity to use the ATM, I have not had any problems in this regard, it seems to me that it is well located and easy to access, I congratulate you.

Outstanding service at this branch. My personal banker Erick was absolutely fantastic to deal with! I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was extremely patient and answered all my questions and concerns. Erick will be the only banker that I can fully trust with all my banking needs. Thanks again to Erick and his outstanding Citi bank team!

I have been with Citi Bank for almost 9 yrs and I used to like banking with Citi, however i am planning on closing my business and personal accounts, mainly because of negative experiences at this branch. 1.) The employees at this branch are definitely not customer friendly and welcoming not even a smile or welcome like the other banks I bank with.Very cold and stuck up faces 2.) On 2 different occasions i went into the branch to have a document notarized and they claimed the notary was not there and looked at me with a blank stare.3)They put a block on my business account claiming that my physical address was a P.O. Box/Virtual Address (without consulting with me they updated this address on my account ) after visiting the branch I was told the issue was rectified and the block removed however for almost 2 weeks I noticed my payments were not being debited I had to call Citi Online support and they informed that the block was still on the account and had no idea why the branch did not remove it when we visited to update the address ( which was carelessness on the branch employees)Now i had my payments bounced for checks in large amounts which gives my business and myself a very bad image as clients to our vendors.4) Also most if not all banking institutions are open until 5pm during the week with the exception of Citi Bank which is very inconvenient.
