Security camera NY was a Godsend to me 3 yrs ago. My wife and I were looking for a reputable company to install security cameras outside my house and one day I ran into their colorful van in front of a barbershop where Avner (the owner) and his assistant were finishing up the installation of cameras for my friend the barber. I was impressed by the quality and neatness of the job and the professionalism of the owner and decided to get an estimate the next day. After we agreed on the price and equipment the job was completed on time and to my satisfaction.I was very happy with the neatness of the installation and the expertise of Avner and his assistant Hugo. My wife in particular loves the peace of mind of being able to check our cameras remotely through the phone app downloaded by Avner and so far we haven't had any major problems. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to do business with them again.

I am very satisfied with all of the aspects of this company’s work! Immediately after speaking with Avner, we decided on a set date to start installation. I installed seven cameras throughout my house both indoors and outdoors. I am also able to access the cameras through my mobile device. The great resolution of the cameras allow me to watch over my house 24/7. Thank you Avner!

Avner and his team work quickly and efficiently. However, his communication and scheduling could use some work. As another review also stated, the workers are not the best at cleaning up after themselves. I have installed cameras on my own in the past at a previous home and I am very familiar with the process. I used him because there was an incident very close to home that made me nervous, and I wanted them up asap. I found his prices to be rather high for the amount of time his workers spent, the work that was done, and the quality of the materials used. In retrospect, I probably won't use him again for work. Especially when I learned that he charged me $180.00/ piece for some Chinese cameras I found on the internet or $50.00/ piece. Although I was somewhat pleased with the final result of my camera system, the fact that he marked me up so much is dishonest and frankly greedy. I personally feel that he saw my home, inferred that I had money, and overcharged me accordingly. I still have buyers remorse with this purchase. I still feel that I should have just taken a day from work and done it myself because I feel I was still taken advantage of. This doesn't go without saying, I'm not cheap and I can't stand cheap people, but I am fair and I believe in paying for quality. My advice, borrow a ladder, take a deep breath, go on youtube, and learn to do your cameras yourself. Minimal tools are usually required and you'll save a TON of money. You just have to be willing to do a little work.

I wanted to wait a few weeks before I wrote this review to make sure I was happy with the system, so far everything has been great. I found Security Camera NY through yelp, and they responded quickly. I was shocked at how quickly they were able to come to do the installation. I spoke with Avner to help design what system would work best for us. He explained everything, was very thorough, and answered all of my questions. We settled on 7 cameras to be placed around my home. Hugo and his team did the installation, and Avner come to set up the NVR and explain everything to me. Hugo and his team were very clean during the installation and did everything possible to keep things neat - much more so than other contractors who have been to my house. They were very patient in helping us figure out where the cameras would be located and pointed, and very creative to keep the wires as inconspicuous as possible. They ran wires all over my house, and did a fantastic job keeping them hidden. They were done by 2:00pm, in the rain. Other companies had said this was going to be at least a 2 day job. So far, the system has been working great. It's nice to be able to use the app to see what's going on at my house. We are very happy with the work Avner, Hugo, and all of the guys did. I have already recommended Security Camera NY to neighbors and family members. I gave their card to neighbors around my house who were impressed with the work they did. I strongly recommend them.

Security camera NY installed HD Digital cameras and alarm sytem after my store was burglarized. They gave me great and fast service with very decent price. We feel safe again and we highly recommend to all.
