“Great experience. we really liked the cut that our dog got and it turned out amazing. Drop off was really smooth and it was decently priced for the amount of services we got! Took about a hour and a half but pretty standard!”

“One of the best places to get your pet food. Prices are reasonable. Only issue I have is that they don't carry some of the items I buy from Petco. I wish they can carry Nulo brand of cat food and Sustainably Yours brand of cat litter. If they have those, then it'll be a one stop shop for me.”
“We are so happy to have found this wonderful neighborhood place for our new puppy! Both times we have visited so far, James and Crystal have been SO friendly and helpful, treating us like family already! They recommended the best products for our pup, and didn't try to push anything we didn't need, which we really appreciated. This will be our go to pet shop and groomer going forward, and we can't wait to try the daycare when out pup is old enough. Highly recommend this place, you won't regret it!”

“I really recommend this place to buy pets because the owner will tell you what are the best starting pets and then what are the more advanced birds to take care of. The owner is very caring and to be honest all around very good place. Food is good and it’s cheep. The birds are cheaper than any other bird shop which is crazy and the birds seem healthy all the time when I pass by the store.”

“Love this place! I have come here to get supplies for my cats for the last 3 years since I moved to the area. They deliver for you and are amazingly helpful! And they have some things unavailable in other global chain pet stores. Recently, I was running late from work and was not sure if I would be home for the delivery. They made it happen so easily, and they left at my door. Thank you all for always going above and beyond!”
“I stopped by for a quick nail trim for my dog and they did a great job. And when my dog got a little fidgety/anxious, both groomers helped out and made her feel very at ease. They were efficient and kind! Will be back again for more grooming services and the store itself has a great selection of products!”
“Was recommended this place by a friend and it was delicious! Loved my French toast and the lavender mimosa was a nice hit of booze that I wasn't sure would work but did very nicely. Katie was our main server and she was adorable - we traded pet stories and she was super fast with everything. She even modified a dog dish for human consumption (which was a hilarious conversation) and didn't blink. Will be making my way back there for sure.”

“Owner is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly! He is a legitimate reptile lover! He was also extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions. The reptiles here are very well taken care of. I had purchased a crested gecko from them around a year ago and he hasn't shown any signs of illness, has a great appetite, and is full of energy! This place also has a pleathora of feeder insects and rodents. Truly a one-stop shop for all reptile enthusiasts or for anyone looking to get into the hobby!”

“The best pet store in the area. The best thing about this store is the team that works there. They are knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful with my little pup. After moving here she became very shy but they never gave up on her and now I can't walk by the store without her demanding to go in. A few times, I've had to run over for something and they are always ready to help. She once got a tummy ache and they had just the thing. Oh my gosh and when she had 13 teeth removed and refused to eat, they recommended a yummy chicken broth and it was like magic.”

“My dog has escaped from my backyard and this shelter was a big help in finding him. I initially called and described my dog but he wasn’t over there. About half an hour later the shelter called back and informed me that my dog was at an emergency veterinarian center nearby. The fact that they remembered how I described my dog and matched that description to a dog in an entirely different location than theirs is amazing. Even taking the extra step to call me back and inform me where my dog was tells me alot. The people working at this shelter genuinely care about animals and have a passion for what they do. I am beyond grateful for their help in my situation.”

“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean! “I try to shop local, so I stopped in for the first time recently during a stretch of severely cold whether to see whether they had jackets for our 50-pound pup. They did have a good selection, but none just right for our boy. The man helping said he would look downstairs to see if there were any more jackets down there. In the meantime, I asked the owner whether they carried prescription diet foods. The owner then took the time to ask questions about my pet and his current situation. The other employee returned with a jacket that fit well, looked great, and was priced competitively. I didn't think I would have luck with the jacket, so I was happy to get this for the cold weather. I was very surprised and even happier when the owner then threw in a $30 bag of high quality kibble to try as an alternative to the major supplier brand.This man hadn't seen me before and couldn't know whether I'd ever return again. With service and kindness like this, he can be sure that Furry Rascals is our new favorite local pet store.”

“It was my first time taking my dog to this establishment. The employee at the front desk was very welcoming to me and my dog. I approached the desk to let the gentlemen know that I was there for my 1pm grooming appt. I can't remember the guy name at the desk (sorry about that). The groomer Brannon was amazing, he was very acknowledgement about what technique was best for my puppy since he is only 6 months. After, I dropped him off I was told that they will contact me once his service was done. I came back to pick up my dog and he looked lavish and well groomed. I didn't even recognize my own dog lol. Thank you so much to all the staff members. Brannon you will definitely be seeing Grea again and thank you so much for you service. I am definitely letting all my dog friends know about this establishment and very affordable. Wayyyyy better than PETCO!!!!! I am now you dedicated and loyal client going forward. “Furry Paws has always been my go to for doggie merchandise. Today I was helping a friend looking for the booties for her dog for out in the cold and snow. The employee was so helpful showing me how they are packaged. She had various sizes for different breeds of dogs. It was listed on the package. They came in different colors made of a soft rubber and are disposable. She said she sells a lot of them for $19.99 a package. I left with a lot of information for my friend. It's up to her if she wants to get them or search online for a different style or price. I'm recommending Furry Paws if you live nearby. Save the puppies feet from pain in the ice and snow!”
