Joan has been a tremendous part of my growth over the last few years! She is a compassionate, kind, light hearted and extremely wise therapist. I always feel comfortable sharing anything with Joan and she has pushed me gently to challenge old habits and to form new healthier ones. She has given me tools and advice that I will stay with me forever. She has such wonderful insight and she really takes the time to know her clients. Joan is truly just an amazing therapist!

I will forever be grateful for you, Joan and the amazing women of the Women's Empowerment group who helped me to see my worth, believe in my ability to say, “No more!” to a toxic work environment and “Yes” to me, and for helping me to stand in my power to take a huge leap in my career.One year ago I resigned from a program director position with a community college to pursue my true passion as a full-time Sign Language Interpreter. Now, even on the busiest and most stressful days in my new job I am still so much happier and healthier than I was in the previous one.The past year has been transformational for my mental health, energy, and self-awareness. I will always appreciate and be thankful for this community of women and the powerful effect it had and continues to have on me. Thank you so much for the incredible work you do and for creating the Women's Empowerment courses!

Joan Stenzler is amazing! She is a fantastic listener and really gets to the root of your problem. She does not judge and she dedicates the necessary time to make you feel better about yourself. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs therapy.

One of the best decisions I've made to nourish my well being was joining The Womens Empowerment Incubator, with Joan as our coach. In this incredible group, which consisted of several wonderful ladies- who have now become special friends of mine- I learned many new things about myself that I wasn't aware of prior to the group. One of the many things that Joan helped uncover were my capabilities. Not only did she assist in bringing those to light but she also instilled in me the tools that I needed to face my fears of stepping outside of my comfort zone and get a new job- something that I didn't think I was ready for, but Joan, as well as the group, were a safety net, and I was able to be vulnerable and have a great support system to fall back on. As my coach, Joan instilled in me more confidence and the significance of self love. As a result, I have become more aware of my abilities, I have learned how to be more confident, and as a result be more of an efficient communicator. I have also learned to do what makes me happy, and to love myself just as I am. What makes Joan an incredible coach is that she is a great listener and an even better support system. She provides many tools that encourage growth and is there every step of the way to pick you up if you feel like you fell, and to cheer you on your accomplishments, big or small.

From the first phone call I had with Joan Stenzler, when I was searching for help, I could already tell what kind of person she was; caring, understanding, selfless, and extremely dedicated to the well being of her patients. From our first meeting, I knew there was something different about Joan as compared to my previous therapeutic experiences. Her expertise in somatic therapy experience helped me understand my past traumas and has taught me how to begin healing myself.One distinct moment that I can remember, that showed my how dedicated Joan is to her patients, was when I was going through a very hard time. She told me that I could call her at any time when I needed to talk. I knew then that she was for real, and that she took her relationship with her clients very seriously. I recommend her to anyone who needs help. Joan Stenzler is someone who believes in our strength and ability to heal ourselves.

For years, I struggled to find a therapist who could help me delve deep into the shame and guilt I suppressed, but from the first phone call, when I "interviewed" Joan, I knew she had the skill set to help me unravel the pain of my past. Her warm demeanor, considerate and caring disposition, not to mention the tools we use to unpack things, have aided me in uncovering and discovering so much about myself. The progress we've made in a year is undeniable. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking to do meaningful, deep work.

I called to ask for her services and she was honest and told me she doesnt help in the area i sought but she stayed on the phone with me and searched online for people who coukd help and who would take my insurance ...thank u so much doctor stenzler..pls keep up the great work u r doing....much respect!

I have been working with Joan over the course of a few months now and in this short time I have made more personal progress in my life than in working with anyone else for far longer in the past. Her patience and understanding, not to mention her general knowledge, work together to make you feel understood and realize that things may not be as complex as they seem. Joan made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning and she is extremely easy to talk to as well as very kind in nature. She also is really easy to work with your schedule and is a great communicator. I would highly suggest Joan and have done so already!
