Well ! After doing my taxes and paying a fortune to the irs for the last 4 years thanks to the so called winnie who dropped us for no reason just because she felt like it ... how dare would anyone do that to a loyal costumers . My wife and I started doing our taxes with her when she just started in queens and she kept raising the price on us since then and I just never said anything ... she claimed it was all because things have gotten expensive and yet we had to pay her a lot and get nothing in return and not even a good service ... awful ! She's greedy and rude and she doesn't have a clue about what costumer service is ! Last year she did our taxes and she sent us an email that she will not be taking us for no reason ... I was shocked and disappointed , I thought she was out of business or she closed but yet I just found out that she's still open in Jericho Long Island ! Anyone who's reading this comment should know that this woman is only loyal to money ... she doesn't care about anything else !

I have been Winnie's client for about 8 years and I plan to continue to use her service. She is responsible, professional, patient, kind and trustworthy. If you have questions or doubts, either herself or her assistant will respond. Payments are clearly stated and I have never felt cheated in anyway. I highly recommend Winnie Chan's accounting services!

I needed a tax accountant for our annual tax return filing. Found her through yelp n tried her service. I am happy with her services since. Her office is clear in giving out tax returns instructions n it does help the whole procedures. Their office also have online portal which is a plus advantage so you can scan all documents instead return all paperwork in persons. I recommend her services to my in-laws too.

I'm not going to go into detail. Winnie, you know what it is. I dare you to respond. Please do, because I have time. You really do not want to go there. I'm going to be generous and leave you with 2 stars. Thanks for the previous years but the most recent years have been a disaster. You are intentionally disrespectful and you truly need to learn the meaning of treating people with kindness. Understand that it's never really what you say, but it's the way you present information. If people PAY you for a service or RECOMMEND you, YOU NEED TO HUMBLE YOURSELF. What you have today, could be gone tomorrow, understand that. I hope anyone reading this understands this and look elsewhere. I have been truly taken aback by you and like I said its truly about the way you handle things and conduct business. Ultimately, I give respect where it's given. And if you disrespect me OR my family, then we have an issue. You disrespected me one too many times and you could have literally gone about things various other ways. Your prices are outrageous and the amount of money people get back dwindles each year. I don't need the speel, either. I'm good. Happy to not be with you any more bcuz it awas ways something with your office. I'd rather be treated with respect and kindness, especially when you are doing your best to try to help others (as children usually do for parents). Additionally, I'm going back and looking at Winnie's responses to anything less than 5 star reviews and it is atrocious. Smh, disgusting. Yea definitely the right decision to never use you again after this year. I would never even associate myself with people who talk to individuals like this. Even if you disagree or have evidence that your interpretation differs, there is a right and a wrong way to talk to people, Winnie. Learn the right way. Smh, saddened to see this but it explains alot and I'm now not surprised by you. Pray God speaks to your heart and that you change your ways. I see now why you haven't had new reviews in such a long time.

I caught major errors myself and asked Winnie to review but was initially told that there is no mistake. The number were so off that despite the CPA telling me there is 0 problem, I redid all the math myself. Everything. Later, AFTER I DID ALL THE MATH MYSELF, I CORRECTED THEM their mistake. I would have paid $1923 more if I didn't double check myself. Mind you I'm a simple W2 1040 employee, God know what other mistake they are making underneath. I have to mention they have been putting INCORRECT ADDRESS for my filing and told me that "it's ok because it doesn't matter". Well, when I had to electronically retrieve my tax returns, I always got a rejection due to incorrect match of address and had to manually prove the tax return on paper. Then, instead of apologizing and providing customer service, Peter? (I guess they are partners) berate me with email below. Complete script of our communication. She charged me $100 extra, I think other CPAs around the neighborhood was like around $175 but hers was $275. If you have to OVERPAY your tax b/c your CPA cannot catch simple numbers of simple W2 returns, I would run away as far as possible from here. Plus, the terrible customer services as noted below. Don't be fooled by 5 star reviews, they must be her family members, friends, or employees. Look at it yourself With your intelligence, please don't make this simple case more complicated! With all due respect, you are working full time, but we are working overtime especially this time of the year. If you said nothing about the error, and somehow we did file your tax return with IRS, then will be different situation to compensate your loss and hassle. As of today, the FACT that actual tax return is not filed because process is still incomplete, and based on one simple correctable error, you want a full refund plus "for free" to continue filing your tax return. Seriously! For benefit of doubt, how do you know Winnie will not identify the error during her final check procedure? If you think her fee is higher (btw not significantly higher thou) than other CPAs, you should try the one in Manhattan. Beside I don't think there are many CPAs out there who will include tax planning strategy in helping clients to save more on taxes, while just doing their tax returns. There's a reason why our company has over 1,000 business and personal clients, and counting! For example, in your case again, the donations helping you saving more than $500 in federal tax. Where's the credit about that for Winnie!! In conclusion: Your claim is just reasonable for 50% refund under "our" consideration and courtesy for both sides, but not evidently justified for 100% refund plus freebie. This case would has resolved already if agreed on mutual resolution and accommodation, instead, all you been asking is ONLY one-sided benefit and advantage for yourself. Unless otherwise, please carefully consider the following two refund options: [1] Refund 50% and will continue completing the tax return OR [2] Refund 100% but will not continue the filing, since there's no "free lunch" Sun, Feb 24, 2019, 11:04 PM to Winnie Winnie, this is another correction that I'm asking you to fix. I have noticed odd number in my AGI section and realized that vitamin pharmacy income was added for 2018 year. My sincerely apology, I did not even notice that the 2017 W2 was entered in 2018. My mistake not to catch this before I upload the pdf. I've checked through the entire tax return and it seems fine and I uploaded the new pdf: Federal refund: $815 NY refund: $543 This is with the donations I've included previously. Winnie, that's a huge mistake, I would have paid $1923 more if I didn't catch that. Also, it's the most main number W2, it's hard to believe any CPA would miss it if they even bothered to double check their clients W2 numbers before they file it as they are supposed to. I ask that you give me back $225 that I paid you earlier

When I first went to Winnie over 5 years ago, her office was 5 minutes from my house. Even though her office is now in Long Island, being able to upload my tax documents to a secure portal online makes its feel like she's still down the block. It's much more convenient and safer than meeting in person. Her and her staff communicate frequently and often, if necessary. My taxes are by no means complicated but it gives me peace of mind knowing that someone as knowledgeable and experienced as Winnie is processing my taxes. Her fees are reasonable and well worth the cost. In addition to tax preparation, she provides a year to year comparison of your tax data as well as suggestions to alleviate your tax burden. I don't believe you will find another accountant as thorough and detailed regardless of cost. The IRS is not an institution you want to mess with so be wary of tax preparers who claim to get "maximum" refunds with dubious methods and outright tax evasion. You're in good hands with Winnie.

I've always been a person that likes to take pride in doing things myself, in this case, yearly tax returns. This year I decided to use a professional to take care of it. Although I was quite hesitant at first, Winnie made all my doubts disappear. The Yelp reviews on this business was spot on. Her communication, professionalism, timeliness, and completeness of the work was fantastic. This was all done without us once speaking in person or over the phone! Remarkable. I was able to upload all the necessary documents on a secured website. Winnie reviewed them and got back to me quickly. My emails were answered in a concise way. Importantly to my family and I, Winnie was able to maximize our refund during these tough times. I no longer will have to worry about my future tax needs. No more using a tax preparation software. I have found my CPA for years to come.

Communicative, transparent, and knowledgeable. We were lucky to find Winnie and have her work on our taxes this year. Not only is she a great communicator and helpful with explaining the processes and what's needed but she was super efficient. I had a truly awful experience dealing with Winnie & Peter at Hyton Accounting and would caution anyone from doing business with them. They were unresponsive and unhelpful when I had questions about specific things, giving vague responses that would never fully answer the question and often simply not responding. When I called, I was told that I'd get a call back that day but the callbacks never came (this happened 3 times).

My husband and I have been getting our taxes done by Winnie for the last couple years. She is simply amazing! Knowledgeable, super professional, and always a pleasure. She's fair and does everything by-the-book, which makes us feel safe. I've tried doing my own taxes in the past and always feel like I'm doing something wrong. Had some fun accountant transition issues with my S-Corp & personals for last year's taxes and I'm very grateful to have found Winnie and her team.
