“I am a loyal customer and come here for 99% of my pantry needs. They have some of the best nuts I’ve ever tried (especially their roasted almonds and cashews), huge fan of the Turkish apricots and their figs are always soft. They have a great selection of spices, Ayurvedic medicines, and grains & legumes. I also buy their rotis and love making wraps with them. As a home cook they stock my kitchen! And the staff are always very helpful, if you’re looking for something in particular or have an ailment that you need a remedy for.”

“More space and brighter, compared to their previous location which was very tight. Still a small store so can find needs but not an extensive variety. There's a rewards card which can earn you $20 discount after 100 stamps (1 stamp per $10 purchase). Tip: if you forgot your rewards card, have your receipt stamped and bring it back the next time to be added to your card. Helpful staff. Have been enjoying the riceballs from here - less than $3 each. Seaweed wrapper is separate until ready to eat. Haven't tried their other cooked food items.”

“Seems to be new people running the shop. Same great coffee and good food. Have to say that I used to hesitate going there when the older women was there...I felt unwelcomed. The man behind the counter now is quiet but cordial. Glad to have another go-to for coffee and a great bite of food. And their grocery section is chock full of great pastries, pasta, sauces, and more.”

The place was spacious and clean and well organized. The service was good as well , the people knew what they were doing. Many nice things there and I picked up everything I wanted. “After hearing so much about this spot, was treated by a friend to some vegetarian momos, veggie samosas, and a mango lassi. I’ve had momos once before and didn’t enjoy, but these definitely changed my view for the better. I was hooked on the peanut orange sauce and spicy red sauce that came with them; use with caution if you’re sensitive to heat like myself. The samosa was amazing and I enjoyed the crispy flavor of the shell with the sweet sauce. I never had such a filling, thick mango lassi before— will be my go-to drink going forward here. The woman behind the cashier that also worked on preparing the food was super sweet and patient with ordering. Will be back again to try the paratha cheesy momo wrap and paratha breakfast wrap!”

“I must have walked by this store so many times and only went in to buy lottery tickets today. I held the door open for someone and he told me that this place was a gem of a store and it was his favorite store. When I walked in this store it was fully packed with mostly Turkish groceries. I mean they really used their space. I decided to really take some time out to look around. Every bit of space it untiltilized here with a lot of amazing turkish products. I ended up getting some turkish bread and snacks which I really liked and my lotto tickets. This is definitely a great new find.”

“Honestly my FAVORITE place in the neighborhood. I usually come here for breakfast because their breakfast burritos are ? but my go to is the cheddar chive sausage biscuit!! They also have vegan options, and over all just healthy snacks and meals! It’s always stocked up with the cutest accessories and bits of home decor too. It’s a safe space and one that I will treasure forever ?”

The store is a pleasure to shop at, with helpful staff, clean and bright store with never having to wait long (if at all) for checkout lines. “My family has been shopping here for as long as I can remember - they're the best place to get Israeli products in NYC and, over a decade after leaving the city, I've yet to find anywhere that comes close. The products are great quality. Prices have increased, but that's true everywhere. The store is small and often crowded, so expect a little bit of chaos, but everyone has always been helpful and kind. The nuts, dried fruit, olives by weight, halva are all excellent and have been for at least the last three decades :) Go and enjoy!”

“The variety and quantity of fresh vegetables, tubers and fruits is phenomenal. They turn their inventory over very frequently so everything is absolutely freshest you'll find.We have scheduled going to trader Joe's on a weekly basis just to pick up fruits, vegetables and fresh stuff.Folks are working or very friendly. You can talk to him, but don't forget they're working and they're good at what they do.We have switched our allegiance from trader Joe's on metropolitan new woodhaven boulevard to trader Joe's or just off Queens boulevard and Yellowstone boulevard. It has a great great variety. More so than the metropolitan avenue store. After all, it's a lot bigger.Very very highly recommended!”
