I'm a repeat customer and I was trying to buy a couple sets of uniforms, socks and shoes with my debit card, not a credit card, and he stopped me because he demanded to see id. Even after I showed him the ID, he still denied the purchase. The guy said no to $500 worth of sale. That's so crazy to me.

Always shop at the Elmont Work N Gear but didn't have my size, Freeport store had the size I needed but the 2 employees at the Freeport store extremely friendly had my boots at the counter. Had no issues when showing the online price plus the $10 dollar off when you spend over $50. Usually stores like to give you one or the other but the store was more than happy to give me both savings.

Empty shelves, high prices and people follow you around the store. Same stuff on Amazon at a marked up price and a very small selection as far as construction wear goes.

I DO NOT recommend this place. The work n gear in Lindenhurst is MUCH better than this trash can. The owner is VERY unprofessional and disrespectful. They forced me to swipe my card 3x because he has an outdated card machine and kept saying "oh it doesn't go through, must be swiped." Hello, it's covid! Nobody wants to physically touch your machines! It went through all 3x, and I called when I realized, just to get "oh, well I'm not doing anything." They use a card machine from the 90's and now I have a fraud charge on my card. That owner is so disrespectful and rude, I will 100% not be coming back here, I'd rather drive to the other side of Long Island. Completely UNACCEPTABLE AND DISGUSTING. I DON'T RECOMMEND SHOPPING HERE.K baii
