The standout features of this place are its instructors, like Katie, who brings infectious enthusiasm and a unique inspirational style to every class. It’s like a daily injection of positivity, sunshine, and energy to give you a charge! And her music selections are phenomenally on point and impeccably timed to match our efforts on the bike. Couldn’t recommend it any higher.. but I’ll stop there before they run out of space making it difficult to reserve a spot! :-)”
“This was my second time coming to this sneaker store. I brought 2 of my friends this time to have them fitted for running sneakers since we are registered for the Brooklyn Half Marathon. The staff here are always so amazing and helpful. They really take the time to look at your feet, watch you walk, size you, and assist you in finding the perfect sneaker. I purchased my 2nd pair of Hokas. I'm in love. They are such a great sneaker and feel like I'm walking on clouds. The store had a sale so the sneakers were a really good price. The staff who helped me this time was Melaine. She had so many helpful tips on the proper sneaker, energy gels, and running belts. I learned so much in my short visit. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend you get your sneakers from here!”

“Not your regular run of the mill retail store. Great vibes, knowledgeable players/trainers who are always attentive & honest. Definitely make you feel in casa. Good variety of playing/training gear too. Hicksville is the Mecca for ⚽. So many fields/green spaces to try out your new gear. Highly recommended, but don't take my word, check it out for yourself! My whole familia has been going there for years. Easy access off of 107 Broadway. (Shout outs to Joe(player with the big calves lol) & Rich, who have always been there for the soccer community & attentive to our needs) God Bless???? ?”

“A few days after purchasing an item through their website, I received a telephone call from Sports Depot stating that they did not have the item in stock, an older model of Russell youth football pants. They had the same pant in a size small and size large, but I needed a size medium. After requesting a refund to my credit card, the gentleman with whom I was speaking (possibly the manager/owner) asked me if I want the smaller and larger sized pants free of charge. I was surprised to say the least. The gentleman agreed to credit my account and send me two pair of youth football pants. He didn't have to do that. While it was a brief phone call, it was proof to me that their are definitely some customer service-oriented businesses still out there. It was my first experience with Sports Depot, but I fully intend to reach out to the company if I need to make a sporting goods purchase in the future. Thank you Sports Depot.”

“In my experience, tennis shops can be intimidating. Tennis people can be condescending and talk down to you. I went here for the first time today and had quite the opposite experience. Adam (I think the owner) was really nice, friendly, and open and respectful regarding pricing. I was shopping for a new racket. He asked me about my budget from the jump, which I thought demystified the whole process. I got a brand new Babolat racket with same- day stringing (picking up in a few hours). Got a great deal on a dress and shoes as well. I will definitely be back here for more tennis clothes as the selection and prices were amazing. I would recommend this place to anybody both for the service and selection.”
“Very very happy and satisfied with this shop!Shop owner very helpful and knowledgeable I found out a few tips on knife carry in the New York region and we ended up sharing some stories for a good 20min.Point of my story I went there to get a knife tool to fix and adjust my knives I have and she ended up actually giving me the Kershaw tool for free and I never even paid anything!Being kershaw is also 1 of the best in the game and highly recommend going to their store to support and check it out !!!Thank you so much Geri! ?”

“My son is just starting lacrosse, and the three workers who were there today couldn’t have been nicer. All were college lacrosse players and were very knowledgeable. They didn’t try to oversell and took the time with my son to see what was best for him. They taped his stick for him and explained basics. I’m sure bigger sports stores wouldn’t have given us this personalized attention nor would they have had the specific expertise. Thanks!!”

“Needed a new pair of skates and was recommended by my brother to go see Dante instead of go to a random hockey store and I am extremely glad I did! Dante got me fitted and had me try on multiple skates and find out which ones fit best! He then ordered a special pair in my size for wide feet and I had them quickly shipped to the store where he had them heated and specially fitted to each foot and then he sharpened them absolutely perfectly! An absolutely incredible experience and deal as the price couldn’t of been beat and the knowledge and advice he gives you is brilliant, I would highly recommend going to see him and get your skates the right way if your serious about skating! “I bought a pair of hockey skates at one of the big name hockey stores, but when I noticed the boots were cracked after a year they just shrugged, so I took them to Andy Cozzi to see if he could at least fix a torn eyelet. He could have sold me a new pair of pricey skates on the spot, but instead he repaired the eyelet for free and haggled with the manufacturer for months to get the skates not only replaced but upgraded. That personal touch and extra effort is the difference between a small craftsman and a big faceless corporation. Instead of making a quick buck Andy got a customer for life... even sharpened the new runners and refused to charge me. Great experience!”
