“Great assortment of meats and cheese. They also have a dry aged steak selection that's cut to your specifications, however, the butcher leaves at 5pm. I asked the deli department and they said that I could call it in and have the steaks cut and waiting for me before closing.”

“I've tried, their rotisserie chicken, mashed potato, and chicken pot pie. Everything tasted great, the rotisserie chicken was well seasoned with savory skin, and still juicy inside. Mashed potatoes came with a side of gravy. Chicken pot pie had a good chicken to veggie ratio, and it was kinda creamy (my favorite type). Would recommend!”
“The food is excellent here. Highly recommend dark meat schnitzel and the cole slaw. Split pea soup as well .
They don't cook with a lot of salt because the kosher community they are serving is mostly older. This guy is a Huge fan of not adding too much salt. Basically every kosher takeout place known to man adds so much salt.”

“It's a simple shop that sells the best meats around. I don't know where grocery stores here source their meats, but I half-jokingly refer to the beef as Chernobyl cows. PWMC has a far better source for their meats, and I only buy from grocery stores when this butcher is closed and I'm desperate.”
“Really good quality produce, meats, and deli department. Some dairy and grocery items are priced toward the high end of the "competitive" range, but that's the price of convenience. The previous place left a void when it closed, so it's great to have an even better neighborhood supermarket fill that void.Unfortunately, there has been an increase in thefts recently and Marino's has had to create a new policy: no using your own bags to shop (use their baskets instead), and no "granny carts" at all. It's inconvenient, but we can't blame the store or its employees; they're simply reacting to a sad reality. Two thumbs down for the thieves who have made the new rule necessary.Meanwhile, we should keep supporting a local business that has served the community well.”

“I have celiac disease and brought my own bread because I also have a wheat allergy and they made my sandwich for me with the bread I brought them :)) they took it no problem and made me two great sandwich’s for under 15$. They are super sweet. And extremely reasonable will definitely come again and recommend to people with food sensitivities or allergies. They are also are extremely heavy handed with the cold cuts. Gave me roughly 1/4 lb or a little more combined on both the sandwiches total. Super delicious.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”

Exploring here can get you some wonderful finds and East Asian specialties and products if you are looking for them. There is also ample parking available and the staff are friendly and helpful. I plan on returning.”
