Don’t support them, animals are neglected, filthy water, filthy cages, store bird is in rough shape for their age (missing feathers, can’t fly, limited mobility). Walking in there is just depressing when you see the state/size of the cages. Support rescues, not breeders.

These people are absolutely wonderful!! We came in looking for a small turtle for our daughter’s birthday! They didn’t have one but knew someone who did and got the turtle for us the next day… FREE of charge!! That says a lot about the type of people they are, they’d rather see a pet go to a good home.. than make money off of it!! All of their pets are so well taken care of and their supplies are so well priced!! Today they got a turtle a good home but for us, they helped get our 7yr old the best birthday gift.. she will remember forever!!! Thank you so much D&D supplies!!! (SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS)!!!!!

One of the best places i know to get animals i have gotten many from these ladies over the years and never had an issue with any of them they are friendly welcoming and work their hardest to give the customers what they need. I have got an arrange of animals from them snakes, hamsters, rats, fish and even a bird for a family member i have always been backed up when something is wrong. Prices are reasonable they are willing to work with you. I have been with these guys for over 5 years. You wont see me go anywhere else! Thanks for all you do ladies!!

Both of my kids have birthdays this month so we stopped in today to get them each a hamster. Their prices are decent. Not a greatselection of food and supplies but, they do have the essentials. The staff are lovely people and are very friendly. We left with a little long haired female hamster (teddy bear hamster) and a male short haired syrian. My only 2 concerns are that there are 2 male syrian hamsters they had were in the same cage. They can be kept together for a short time while young but these guys have clearly been fighting. Syrian hamsters are solitary animals and after several weeks of age there should only be 1 hamster per cage. The guy we took home has a "battle wound" on his nose and the other I saw has one on his foot. Neither were very bad and dont seem to require a vet. The female hamster was the only one in her cage qhich was good. My 2nd concern is the size of the cages. Syrian hamsters are the larger of hamster breeds. A 10 gal aquarium is not large enough. A 20 gal aquarium isnt even large enough for 1 hamster. 450 square inches of floor space is the minimum requirement for 1 hamster. Floor space is the bottom of the cage that the hamster walks on. The cages they are in are way way smaller. That being said I do understand they are a pet store and those homes are only temporary. This is what qorries me...They do sell hamster cages but, they are extremely way to small for any hamster. I would NOT recommend to purchase one of these tiny cages. Some may argue that they will have their hamster out of the cage a lot thus giving the hamster more room to run around and exercise. Thats fine if its at night. Hamsters are nocturnal animals. Keeping them up all day is very unhealthy for them and not recommended. All in all this pet store is ok. I think that in general pet stores are known for not always having the best interest of the animals in mind. They arent doing a bad job but not a good job either. I'm sure they do care bery much for their animals but there are some improvememts that I would love to see. They have potential to be a great pet store. Overall kids are happy with their new hamsters. We will give them a loving home and Im sure qe will beack to d&d for supplies from time to time.

2 years ago I bought a chinchilla here. Today I stopped in to buy supplies. Three employees behind the counter and one in the fish area. NOT one of them wearing a mask! Being immune compromised I walked right back out! If you don’t care about the health of your community I don’t care if you go out of business!!! Gotta go! Off to buy online safely from my home!
