Super friendly associates and a solid selection. The most surprising part? GREAT PRICES!! There's another Asian market a few blocks away (heck, maybe there's several but I for sure know there's one) and the prices at Tokyo Market not only beat them out, but they're cheap for an AM in general. Definitely a wonderful surprise in the otherwise-expensivd area of Forest Hills/Austin Street (adjacent). Absolutely recommend! They're not a megastore but they'll have lots of what you need.

One day i bought some frozen food and the owner look at me with a bad look. After i paid she didn’t even give me any plastic to pack my frozen stuff. She always frowns and have that stiff face that will make you feel uncomfortable. I am an empath and i can feel her negativity. My friend noticed it too and said she’ll never go back there.

I had a spicy salmon sushi yesterday for dinner.
I spent most of my night throwing up, with fever and woke up with my face full of red dots.
I got food poison for sure.
Don't buy anything they cook there!!!!!!!

Great products, the best part i loved was the candies and other non savory treats. The taste and quality of those were very great. The prices were also cheaper compared to the quality. 10/10
