Called to check inventory and price on an item. When I arrived the owner randomly increased the price by $10 more than quoted on the phone.

Holy crap this place is uninviting. I was unsure if they were open for business. From the foggy glass door to the rows of wines and liquors lined up in such a way it'll make you dizzy -- I still managed to purchase a few bottles of wine. By no means am I a wine connoisseur but I do have a preference like most things in life -- I love a sweet wine. Moscato is my thang whether it's red, white, or pink. Something about it makes my taste buds dance. I love the Luscious brand and was in search of the yellow bottle but they only had red. The red bottle is a mix between moscato and Pinot noir. It's not bad but it's certainly not as sweet as the yellow bottle.

Well stocked liquor store. Hate going to liquor stores and they don't carry a specific liquor. I like a one stop shop and don't like having to go to multiple stores. This is a one stop shop for what you need. Worker is also very friendly and willing to assist if you can't find what you are looking for.

Excellent choice for wine and spirts . Located in a high traffic safe area near starbucks and the E subway stop. A family business run by father and son who are personable ,intelligent and well informed about wine and spirits. They practice COVID19 safety precautions . The prices are fair along with excellent customer service why would you go anywhere else.

The young guy who helped his family in the store is rude, unprofessional, & a scrawny wimp. I'm surprised this liqour store is still in business! Horrible customer service & terrible selections. It's best to go up the block near the subway, better variety & customer service.

Hours aren’t consistent. Went there & they were closed an hour & half than advertised.

Sam does a good job providing an all-purpose wine/liquor store. He and his family are always very friendly and helpful. The small store is listed in Yelp as "pricey." I'll point out that the only places where I get a significantly better price are stores with five times the square footage, and I don't expect Sam to be able to compete with those places' volume discounts. I can walk to the store, get what I want for a good price, and have a friendly chat with Sam or whoever is there. I'm more than happy to support this local "mom and pop" liquor store. PS: I don't know know why my location displays as "San Francisco, CA." I don't walk to Sam's from the Golden Gate Bridge! :-D
