This place is an absolute rip off. Avoid at all costs!! I bought a dog carrier here that is specifically meant for small dogs and my little pup tore right through the mesh in the front 2 days after I bought it. I went back to the store to get a refund because they clearly sold me a faulty product and they said no they couldn't. That's a terrible way to run a business. The manager or owner should definitely do something about this. This is terrible customer service and not a way to build customer trust at all. I'll be telling all of my pet owner friends in the area to avoid this place like the plague.

How ridiculous is it to post on my previous comment that my dog was matted therefore it had to be cut. This is a straight up lie to cover up your mistakes. Have some accountability! These negative reviews are no lie and can tell by the owners responses. How unprofessional.

Very satisfied with the result! My dog tends to be aggressive with new people but at LePitou they knew exactly what to do and made sure my dog was taken care of. I will be coming back :) !!

I went through them after using someone else who is very good, but I was being a little more relaxed than I liked so I knew of Le Poitou from customers and friends decided to try them.Boy was I more than satisfied. Only one of the time did I go to a groomer and show a picture of what I wanted and got it! I showed her the picture and when I pick Jelly bean up it was exactly what I wanted, and every time since. The place is clean, large staff is great I can't say enough about the place ! No problem, making appointments. I do recommend this place..

I don't know about the grooming as I came here for the pet foods, although some have had a bad experience with the grooming here too. I went in for some food that Petco didn't have and le Poitou has had it in the past. The door was open and I walked in. Was met with a strange look. I said I was looking for some food. They didn't have it and tried to sell me something else that was not what I needed. I thanked them and left and they slammed the big metal gate door so hard it made a huge booming sound. These are very nasty women. I'm glad they help animals but try being kind to humans too!

Was here for first time appointment today.i was so happy to have opportunity to finally take our love bichon frise.She went in.they called when she was ready.It was no hassle.quick and our dog came out looking beautiful happy e fluffy.Ill be back.Keep up the good work and we thank yu.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! The owner is arrogant and rude! I stopped bringing my miniature poodle here after I noticed that she would tremble every time out of fear. After her grooming session she would hide if she saw anything that looked like a stick or broom she would tremble and cry even more. she never did any of those things before I took her here! and then it just clicked... these people are disgusting and ABUSIVE. They DO NOT CARE about your pet, they are abusive, and careless. They only care about the MONEY for sure. please don't bring your baby to this place!!!!!!!!! and if you do make sure you pay attention to your pets behavior ! this place should be CLOSED! the staff is horrible.

It says 9-17 on Wednesday. I got here and there was a lady in the store and doesn’t speak English, used hand to show 11 ( one one ). I assuming it’s open at 11. Anyways. The front door is open, the interior door is closed.

I always bring my dog Luna to get her names clipped at Le Pitou. They make it very convenient for me. The store is clean, organized and has a great selection of products. Luna can be a little fussy when getting her nails clipped but they always calm her down and give her treats to make her feel comfortable. It's always a pleasure stopping by.

First time here with my Toy Poodle, Didi who is 10 years old and not always happy to be groomed. But Didi was very happy when she was all done. I must admit it was the best grooming my dog has had. My former groomer had stopped her business when she re-located out-of-state. I then tried a local groomer in my neighborhood which did not work out. I searched for a new groomer and found Le Pitou in Forest Hills. By this time, Didi was a little over-grown, past due for a grooming when I brought her in. Alexandra was so nice and understanding and took the time to talk to me and my mother. She met Didi and was confident her groomer would do her best and I am very pleased with the outcome. Didi now has a few admirers too! We were stopped 3 times by passerbys on the street just after leaving Le Pitou. Thank you Alexandra and your team for a wonderful experience. Would recommend this business for sure!

Totally recommend it!!! Their job is great, they groom your pet exactly how you desire. The time and effort they put into their work is great. Staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Le Pitou - Excellent service! My cat Mia looks adorable - polished, healthy and stylish with her new hair cut :) Thank you so much for taking care of her- You are so professional and sweet, I can tell you love animals. This place has become my top place for grooming. See you soon :)

This is the second time I take my dogs to this grooming facility, and I am pleased with the results every time the staff takes the time and they listen to what you really want. I asked both times for the teddy bear look and they did not disappoint, even though my dogs were matted they still took the time to take care of them and gave the final look as I was expecting. My fur babies did not seem overwhelmed or stressed out after I pick them up, which happened before at a different grooming spot . At first I was concerned they were going to shave them all but I was surprised they were patient and provided the service I was looking for. You can see in the before and after pictures both times they did a great job! thank you to all the staff. Ps, they will charge a bit extra if your dogs are matted and they do not get shave.

I Highly recommend this Dog grooming facility the staff is amazing they are always polite and friendly they treat my Dog with care and professionalism and always make my Dog look so handsome and make him feel at home I personally encourage everyone to bring their pets to get the pampering your pets deserve.
