This year, we had New Year's Eve dinner at OBA in Forest Hills. I am EASILY giving this place 5 for both the service and for the food. Our server, Bulent, was an absolute gentleman, and he constantly had our water glasses filled. We ordered shish kebabs, adanas, and chicken gyro - all of which were delicious! Plus, you MUST cap off your meal with their Turkish coffee and the Tres Leches cake. Pure splendor! We know there are so many restaurants in that area but you would be cheating yourself if you didn't dine at OBA Grill in Forest Hills!

As a Turkish American, I want to love this place, and after a few tries, I still don’t. It is so expensive and the food is mediocre.

Perfect! They were always coming asking if we needed anything, the food was amazing, they gave us a lot of it, and gave us 6 complementary cups of turkish tea

Ordered Two chicken Adana Wraps. OBA gives 10% meat and 90% salads in those sandwiches. Very dry and absolutely no taste. Dont think i will ever order adana wrap.

Sunday night and place is understaffed. We had to ask for utensils after we had food brought to us. This place is in category - never again. Just waste of money. Tasteless grill and salads. Water comes in pitcher with no ice . Toilet is filthy. For this price I ll enjoy my meal somewhere else.

Food was good but I got food poisoning 36 hours later. Creeped out by staff. Staff not helpful. Not a welcoming atmosphere.

I have never personally dined at the restaurant I have always got the food delivered and I most say I have never been disappointed the food is always FRESH , HOT, TASTEFUL and yes I always have left overs the portions are large and the price is fair. I love Turkish and middle eastern food this is one place that will not let you down lamb/chicken over rice never fails the lamb chops was a big hit I got it medium well oh yeh you have to try there baklava as well. A most try spot you won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed my meal! The person I was with did not. It was Friday evening and the place was busy. They have expanded their dining room out onto the sidewalk. It's fully enclosed. This area makes it possible for people to bring their small dogs. They seemed to be understaffed. Service was not great. Water was not filled throughout the meal. Requested more tazekki sauce and it never came. Bill took extremely long to complete.

OBA in Forest Hills is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food lovers! The liver was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the falafel had the ideal crisp on the outside and was soft and flavorful inside. Their hummus was creamy and smooth, and the grape leaves were packed with a delicious blend of rice and herbs. Every dish felt authentic and fresh—definitely a place to return to for a taste of the Mediterranean. Highly recommend!

They don't give good service, you have to ask for water, napkin and sauce, the service is very bad
Unfortunately the service is bad, i can say very bad. I ask for white sauce many times, they ignore me and treat me very rudely.

This was my 1st time going here
I got the chicken gyro, it was well seasoned & it was delicious but the tzatziki sauce was super runny af ,they have to change that
Kinda Manhattan prices as well
