Dr Chivers was very competent and caring when our dog was dying. The emergency actions she took at 4AM helped our dog live for a bit longer and get access to specialized cardiac care in Manhattan. Her notes were also extensive and very helpful to other physicians.

Terrible experience, they called me saying they had a cancellation and to come in early, then made me wait an hour. They told me my X-rays weren't good enough and wanted to charge me $3,500 for new ones. When I said no, they charged me $380 dollars for what they called an "expert consultation." I might have spoken to the Dr. for all of 3 minutes. Unbelievable!

Karma will find it's way back to you. Dr Mark Levy and Carly Sullivan. They don't care about your pets, you or your situations. I lost my pet to you and I didn't even get an apology. I would expect getting some of money back since such a horrible experience. This place is terrible. You killed my pet and she wasn't even halfway in years. I will never recommend anyone come there. Thank you for not caring or giving any sympathy, even to the one who told you she died. You are mobsters! You have no heart and soul. You killed her and telling people wasn't you. I brought her tonyou healthy and she came back a zombie, looked sick from over anesthesia. I hope karma gets you and your owners practice very badly. I'm am saddened you don't care about what happened and offered nothing, not even an apology or flowers/card. You are BOTH cold heartless people like the owner of this establishment. Dont waste your time! Over-priced, long wait, no seeing/staying. Disgusted and very angry

My cat Morpheus hat a terrible accident bumping his head. BluePearl was extremely responsive and reassuring They nursed my little kitten back to good health, and provided me with instructions on what to do in the coming weeks. The bill was pricey, but it was worth it for my little buddy.

Do not come to this "emergency" vet. They'll take as much money as they can and charge more on top of that. I called in advance (1am), let them know i was coming in 20 mins and they said yes. Came in because my dog's hip was limp and looked dislocated (elder dog, history of hip/knee problems). When I got there, there was NOBODY at the front desk and another client had to open the door for me. I didn't speak with any single employee for upwards of 15+ mins. I had to call 2x to let them know i was in the lobby. The vet told me she was "sure" my dog had a back injury and would need an MRI and surgery that would cost upwards of $15,000. She actually told me $15k with a straight face, and gave me attitude when I told her I couldn't afford that (especially since they do not offer any form of payment plans!!!!!). Overall, SO UNPROFESSIONAL. The vet was very judgy, had an attitude, and talked to me like I was dumb. I took my dog home and im taking him to my vet first thing in the morning. I paid $500 for an exam and some pills. Again, no payment plans available. This place makes it seem like only rich people get to keep their dogs alive, for those who cannot drop thousands of dollars in one night unfortunately will have to see their animals die. UPDATE: 12pm, the following morning. Just got back from my home vet. X-rays and Veterinarian confirm evidence of severe hip dysplasia, NOT a back injury!!! (X-rays were never offered to me as an option last night). Thank God i got a second opinion. I got an exam, Xray, and treatment for a fraction of the cost. My dog will be okay, but if you bring your pet here, your wallet won't be. Again, my point stands, these people don't care about your pets, they care about what's in your bank account. This emergency vet doesn't know what she's talking about, she just wants your money. Think twice before coming here!!!

This is the third pet I have brought to BluePearl. There was a five hour wait time however when they triaged my cat they took him immediately as he had ingested a lily which is lethal. I overheard the front desk telling other people after they were triaged that there would be a five hour wait and told them that if they did not want to wait they gave them a list of other hospitals in the area. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable. They were compassionate with him. They kept me updated to his condition often via phone. he spent two nights there.

This place charges almost $1,000 per visit, and then I found out it is because it is part of the private equity takeover of healthcare that is driving up prices for greedy investors.

the worst. my dog hit by a car. didn't get seen for 2 hours. for them to tell me they need $3,000 for exams because all of a sudden she's in distress after obviously not being seen for 2 hours after being hit. and the doctors and staff are the rudest. pig faces. hate in their eyes. no compassion. No care. Stay away!!!

The nurse here was great, front desk staff also super nice. Doctor as well! Yes it is costly, it is an emergency vet center, however very happy with the care they took of our dog and felt like we were in good hands. Great experience and would recommend to whoever needs an emergency vet, they know their stuff!

I went there today with my cat who was having a medical issue. I'm grateful to have this hospital because it's open 24/7. Dr. Elizabeth and the British nurse (I can't recall her name because I was worried) were kind and helpful. The young women at the front desk were professional and nice too. I would definitely go again. I've meant to write a review before because they saved my cat a couple of times over the years!

I have been here 3 times for both my dogs. Issues like lameness, choking, difficulty breathing. All the staff and doctors were very kind and attentive. I have been to specialty animal hospitals so I understand quotes can be very high compared to a primary vet office. Wait times can also feel long, especially when you are beside yourself with worry but unfortunately that is the same case we experience at people hospitals. They were always very upfront about wait times and provided other hospitals in case I did not want to wait. All the quotes provided seemed reasonable for er services and I was never pressued into doing anything.

I am responding to the owners statement. I could post the paperwork that I got from blue pearl to show proof . I have spoken to a vet and he stated two big problems no diagnostic testing . He would never prescribe medications without it . I will be reporting your organization to Www. Op.Nysed. Gov I will also be filling a paperwork in small claims court .

I call at like 10pm and asked if I can bring my puppy in because she had recently got spayed and managed to get her cone off. No matter how much I tried to put it back on, she was on high alert and the drugs from her surgery made her very paranoid. She was very aggressive and wouldn't allow me or my family near her. However, she is very friendly to strangers and would allow them to do anything to her. Afraid she'd lick her incision and get it infected, I called and asked if they can check her incision and put the cone on her, as this was an emergency to me, my pup and my family. I got a rude guy on the phone telling me that they couldn't do anything for me and that I would need to take her to behavioral training. OK SHERLOCK, I didn't ask you about that. I asked if you can do a wellness exam & provide anti-anxiety medication & you're offering some rude advice. I was distraught over the phone because I didn't want my baby to get infected but this guy on the phone had no EMPATHY and couldn't offer any help. He doesn't even know how to pronounce "Sedatives" but had the nerve to try to be smart with me. Very demeaning, has no empathy, and no common sense. I know yall would charge me an arm and a leg so why not just take my money and help my puppy? No, because they want a problem to happen and not help to prevent one bcuz they don't "offer" that kind of service. You should all be ashamed of yourselves, had the nerve to refuse service for a puppy in need but yet yall charging people an arm and a leg.

This place here is the worst place to bring your pets. Definitely if it's an emergency only thing they want is your money money money they throw all these papers in front of you with all these prices for your pet and tell you that if you gotta get your pet into surgery this is the amount or you gotta pay for your pet, or any other type of procedure is this amount or you can get your dogs euthanize and it is this amount. The story behind my baby lilmama coming her on Monday 03/04/2024 my baby girl started off with a heart murmur, and then it turned to heart failure, which I don't even know how that happened and I've been getting all her medicine making sure she take all her medicine every Single day, I found out January 2023 that she had a heart murmur from there. I started with the medicine and she's beginning every single day. i've been getting echocardiogram like crazy x-rays like crazy I even went to the cardiologist on 03/04/2024 two days before I went to this place and they saying that she's was in good energy and spirit at that day, and the cardiologist told me that I have to up up her pills so instead of giving her 2.5 mg she had to get 5 mg starting that day. I had to give her extra and I gave it to her on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. And on Sunday It was nice outside we was out there. Walking and she was feeling good and everything was fine. And she was always eating and drinking. That did not stop with her because she loves to eat, but Monday morning I took her out for a walk and she was moving slowly and then she stopped Walking has she wanted me to pick her up. And the early morning she could not get comfortable and sleep. She was up and down and tossing and turning and she cannot sleep and she was breathing so heavy and panting and sneezing like crazy. So I was scared and I wanted to take her to the doctor and the office that I normally take her to don't open till 9 o'clock in the morning And the original place that I took to on Friday the cardiologist didn't opening until nine as well for me to ask her doctors what to do because I did not wanted to go to this place I mean at all but I was scared, so she said to me and on the paperwork if she start acting funny and and not herself take her to the doctor, So I decided to take her to this place, BLUE PEARL EMERGENCY. so I got on the block in front of this place waiting in the car to see if her original doctors was going to call me before I get in there and she was in my arms and then she fainted so I ran into this place, and this lady in the front the secretary came to me and took lilmama out of my arms but before that lilmama was crying in my arm like always because this was not the first time she fainted she fainted before multiple times, so I know about that and that pregnant lady going to say to me that she was non responsive when I gave her lilmama and that was a damn lie, I told her that she was crying and she left her head in my arms when I gave her to you. And then she comes to say wait a minute wait a Take this paper to fill out Would have on there all these different payments of procedures before they know what is going on with lilmama in this place, they programmed to get money, money, money, the more money I think they get a prize or something they get a bonus because ain't no way in hell they should be pushing paperwork with prices in front of you before they do anything with your pet or better yet know what's going on with your pet. Oh that's not the topper. This is the veterinary doctor comes out from the back when she saw lilmama and say that she is a mess she's not responsive, responsible mean that she is unconscious or dead but she's not neither one of those things, but they see me going crazy Crying because this lady telling me that she's not responsive and she's a mess and she going to die. I was crying like crazy and she said to me listen to what I'm saying for me to shut up and stop crying and listen to what you have to say. She can do this surgery called

When our beloved cat passed away at home the staff at Blue Pearl made the situation bearable by treating us with care and sympathy. Even when they called us to let us know we could come pick up his ashes, they were sweet and respectful.
