I came here to see if there was a difference if I did my taxes or if I could get more with Liberty. The employee quoted me approximately $500 towards the end of trying to help me. That was clearly not ethical at all. I ended up using cashapp taxes for free.

The owner of this franchise is Andrey; he is a thorough professional. He cares deeply about his clients, is highly competent, and upholds his fiduciary duties. I'm not usually one to post reviews, in fact, I have rarely post reviews on yelp. I recently moved from New Jersey to Forest Hills. Not understanding New York City tax law and in addition to, I had issues with my W-2. Trying to get my tax return done in time for the tax deadline; I called pretty much every accountant in the area. They all quoted me the same price which was in my opinion over what the market was charging and were frankly rather impatient. I called Andrey at Liberty Tax who was courteous, kind and very honest with his prices. He was super quick to answer emails, I also loved his online portal which allowed for full transparency of the tax preparation forms and quick communication via the portal; as well as refund status. I will 100% be using his services going forward and will recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a reliable, honest accountant.

Very expensive they charged $290 and my tax was only few hundreds. This price was with %30 discount.

Andrey has been my accountant since 2009. And every time I leave his office relieved. He is professional and friendly, and knows what he is doing. He will work with me, and make sure all expenses are accounted for. Even throughout the year I can ask him a question or two, and he always responds. I highly recommend him especially if you are self employed or have a small business like I do. Excellent! :)

This place offers fast and professional service with tax preparation. They provide great customer service, they are fast and they prepare your taxes online or in person. I have been filing with them for 5 years and always had exceptional experience. Katerina is the best. Definitely ask for her when you go there, she is very knowledgeble.

Andrey Zahariev is terrific -- highly professional and patient. I am 67 years old and have had several good tax preparers over the years. When my accountant passed away late in 2019 my partner and I mourned his loss...and worried we might not find someone else with whom we had confidence. After one meeting with Andrey I felt I'd found the right person. I look forward to working with him for years to come. Definitely Recommend Andrey Zahariev!

I needed a local tax preparer for my 2019 taxes. I went on yelp to look for one near my home. With a lot of searching and emailing and contacting a few tax preparers, Liberty Tax in forest hills was the one that replied quickly. A few other tax agencies replied quickly but they took a while to respond to questions I had before I started filing my taxes with them. Within a day, my taxes were filed and done. Because of COVID, I opted to send them my documents online and have everything done online. That was not a problem for them. Andrey as well as the tax preparer Nadia were GREAT! They called me if they needed an information, they replied to emails fast and it was such a easy and smooth procedure. Liberty Tax prevented me from having a headache trying to chase my accountant down or to contact them if I had any questions about my tax. I highly(!!!!) recommend them. Their reviews on yelp do not do them justice at how courteous and professional they are!! Thanks so much!!

I've had a pleasure working with Andrey for approximately 8-9 years. There are a few things that truly set him apart: 1) exceptional knowledge of tax laws. Andrey always goes to seminars to keep on top of every new tax law or provision. 2) exceptional dedication to his clients. Weather it's a lunch break or 11:00 p.m. in the evening or a weekend or a weekday, he responds! He always responds! 3) connections: Andrey can easily connect with an amazing bookkeeper, a payroll professional, insurance or a financial consultant, he seems to know EVERYONE. 4) C-CORP/ s-CORP, llc - Andrey is the right person to advise on the most correct way to do it. 5) reasonable: extremely competitive prices. For the amount of calls and meetings that he's willing to dedicate to his clients, prices are very reasonable.
