“Great selection of many Asian foods, not just Japanese.

Very helpful staff are responsive to questions and stocking questions. A great place to fill those Asian shaped holes in your pantry!”

“I am so happy this store opened!

Fresh ORGANIC fruit and vegetables - and prices are very reasonable for these.
They have a loyalty program also.

I can find all the healthy grocery and pantry items here, as well as haircare and household.

Fabulous vegan products, including vegan meat and dairy. They do also carry regular meat and dairy.

Very lovely, friendly and helpful people working in the store.

Love Austin Organic!”

“I love this place! We buy our prosciutto here once a month and I love browsing the aisles while waiting because there’s so much to look at and buy! The proprietors are lovely and patient + their coffee is AMAZING.I was broken-hearted when Cheese of The World closed on Austin Street after 50+ years. It was one of my favorite places to stop in and I learned so much about cheese and gourmet food from shopping there and chatting up the staff. Cipollina is filling their spot in my heart.”

“It's excellent! both the attention of the staff and their products, what I can write is only part of what I could express in relation to the service I receive.
I make my purchases through the mercato platform and I had been looking for where to receive quality, responsibility and above all good prices, and here, only here! I have achieved that and more. For that reason, despite staying away from my home, I prefer to travel to guarantee my peace of mind.
The staff provides very good service and looks for ways to communicate to satisfy the customer.

THANK YOU”

“Customer service sucks here not the friendliest staff but they do have an enormous selection of international foods. The produce also sucks I but berries and if I don't eat them within 2 days they just rot and grow mold. The meat section is great they have all different types of fresh meat bit the people working there are very rude and unfriendly. Still though if you just use it as a regular supermarket. For cheese and dairy goods this place is good.”

“This store is very well-run. Lovely staff, check-out, and manager.

And they even pick up the phone promptly to answer specific questions. (I called to see if they have apples grown in NYC and Emanuel gave me a quick and accurate answer. )

Fair prices too.”

“I just love the place, it's the closest thing you'll find to Istanbul's Grand Bazaar in a good way ! A time capsule, owner is as nice as the old book shop keeper from a Hollywood movie, wish I could go once a week, and prices are great too”

“This supermarket is on 63rd drive between 108th and 105th street in Rego Park, Queens. I haven't done any research but prices seem in line with similar supermarkets in New York City . The parking lot is small but normally of adequate size. Reflecting the neighborhood, there are many Russian and other foreign foods. They recently renovated the store and made a second exit on 64th Avenue,on the other side of the store from the parking lot. That exit closes at 6pm.The store closes at 9pm. With the renovation, check out is more efficient.”

“Nice local general store. New owners. Clean place. They do not take EBT food stamps only cash and cards. They also have a separate counter where they make hot and cold sandwiches and other things like tuna salad,.egg salad etc. There hours change from season to season and are open until about 10 at night. For local convenience you will pay a few cents more per item. Also has an ATM machine. Thanks”

“Austin Stop & Go is a convenience store located on the bottom level of the brick shopping center. It's small and brightly lit. Selection's somewhat limited. I couldn't find store hours posted anywhere, but they're probably open fairly late. Mostly unremarkable.”
