Not sure how they can sell there product to grocery stores with no expiration date on the bottle. Purchased this product to find 2 weeks after I purchased it when opened it had mold in the bottle. Had to throw a $20 bottle away. Won't be buying it again.

I am a harsh critic of maple syrup. When springtime rolls around, I make it a point to visit a few sugarhouses for some good authentic fritters, waffles, and pancakes drenched in some freshly bottled maple syrup. Being in a pinch and without any maple syrup to flavor my greek yogurt after running a few miles in the early afternoon, I bought an 8oz bottle of the Adirondack Maple Farms Grade A Dark maple syrup from the Pownal, VT Stewart's. The manager regretfully told me "it doesn't say Vermont on the bottle," which didn't really matter, but may have to his other customers, seeing how people travel to Vermont expecting native Vermont product. Either way, this stuff beats out the typical pure grocery store stuff you'd find at a Stop & Shop, but also beats out some of the local sugarhouse product as well. I've actually got some Grade A in my fridge that I bought while in Montreal, and this stuff is better. It's really good, really inexpensive, and is 100 times the quality that I had expected. It's a gem in the rough, to the point that I'll probably end up stocking up on it and buying multiple bottles.
